Up for auction is a vintage tabletop cabinet with four brass ball feet. Wood sides and top, brass trim and top handle, glass shelves and doors, and a metal removable tray with holes on the bottom. I was told it was a oriental warming cabinet but I don't know anything more about it and don't know how it would have worked. It might have been a medical or lab device but I just don't know for sure- it certainly would work great as a display cabinet. The base is bent slightly upward but it looks like it wouldn't take too much to get it realigned. The glass on the inside of one of the doors is cut a little rough around the hardware so it might have been replaced; this is not seen from the outside. The metal piece with the holes can be covered with cloth or replaced with a piece of wood if used as a display cabinet. Metro C175 CM2000 portable proofing heating food service holding warming cabinet
You are looking at a working Metro CM2000. I tested the unit and it is working but the thermometer flashes when on. The temp gauge works as it should but the temp gauge flashes 2 different temperatures. I thought a temp gauge for an oven inside the unit would work but that was just an idea. The door is pexiglass. I did not clean. There are some scratches and such that might not come out after a proper cleaning. The pexi is whole without cracks. It uses regular power but it states the electric draw is 20 amps. It should be on it's own circuit. If you pick up we can go through the unit. I have a printed manual. I can secure it to a pallet for no charge. I can get it to a Fedex terminal for a small charge.
