This is the 1 model of Cider/Duck Press made by Enterprise Manufacturing Co. Out of Philadelphia. The model is marked with a patent date and another date: April 10, 1883 and July 11 1876. Has that nice used appeal of an antique model and lots of character to it. This comes with the sausage stuffer attachments. No damage that I can see. Some light corosion here or there as shown, but most of the detail of the gold band is still there on the base of the press.

Hello.Up for auction is a fully functioning antique cast iron Enterprise Mfg Co. 4 quart sausage stuffer, or press. All parts are there(removable handle, small plate, large plate, stainer basket, strainer plate, original aluminum sausage stuffer spout, with cast iron nut) It is in as found condition. The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. This device is fully functioning, the gears and handle easily turn, and it easily opens and closes. Overall a great piece that would be a nice addition to your collection, or to re-condition and use in the kitchen! Thanks for looking.

Sir Steak Electric Meat Tenderizer What we have here is a Sir Steak Machinery Inc. Electric Meat Tenderizer for sale. It was made in Acton. Massachusetts and I have no idea how old it is. Take a look at the photos. This is one solid machine. There is a power switch on the back of the tenderizer but it no longer works. Someone has recently added a power switch to the right door as you look at it from the front of the machine. The machine sounds and runs really good. With a throat of 7 3/4" x 1 3/8" I would think you could handle the toughest piece of round steak you can"throw at it" I am selling this machine AS IS. You will notice in the photo with the left door open that there is some grease build up on the inside of the door. I would think a little degreaser, some elbow grease, and some of your spare time and you'll ... morehave this baby cleaned up in no time. I can only imagine all the pork cutlets, tenderized round steaks, chicken breasts, turkey breasts, deer, lamb, sheep, goat, etc. etc. being run through this thing and how good they will taste. There are four tapped holes with screws in them on the bottom of machine so attaching to a solid wobble free surface is an option if you see the need. You are viewing a Rare Antique 4 Qt. National Sausage Stuffer Lard/Wine Fruit Cider Press Complete. This was bought at an estate auction. From what the family says she was 93 and bought this when it was brand new, she had past in 2013 so she would have been born in 1920. I broke this completely down and gave it a good electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in this piece and I gave it my own little touch on the decor. This is a complete set. National was a branch off of the Enterprise in 1897, it was believed that one of the employees from Enterprise wanted to simplify the sausage stuffer apart from The Enterprise way of manufacturing. Hence the bucket being removable which made it easier to clean, but the basic concept of it is the same as the Enterprise. Steam Engine Hit and Miss Funnel Part Sausage Stuffer Part ?? What is it
I was told it was a steam engine funnel but I'm not sure that it is. Overall length is 17 inches with a 4" diameter and necks down to about 3/4" where it's a bit ragged at the end. It has two 3/4" diameter by 3/4" long hangers on the sides and there are three evenly spaced 1/16" holes on the tapered end. It is metal but all the seams are leaded in. The funnel itself is one piece but there are 4 wrap around bands 1" wide that are leaded in for extra strength. A kind person chimed in and said it was part of a old sausage stuffer. Thanks

Exactly like Grandma used to use. Made in the USA and of cast iron. It can be the new family heirloom for generations to come. This unit holds 8 liquid quarts which equates to approximately 16 pounds of meat. Unit quickly disassembles for easy cleaning and comes with a single 3/4" metal spout(hog casings) The Deluxe model doubles as a fruit and lard press as well as sausage stuffer. Also comes with a stainless steel strainer basket, small and large plunger plates. Possibly the oldest name in USA-made sausage stuffers and grinders would be Enterprise Manufacturing. Now known as Chop-Rite. There are still Enterprise stuffers and grinders in use today, some over 100 years old! They are built to last and are made of cast iron and other quality materials from the original designs. Bought in the mid-1900's, the Enterprise Manufacturing ... morecompany was renamed to Chop-Rite Mfg. Using the same design as the original Enterprise stuffers and grinders, parts are interchangeable with the older equipment. This Chop-Rite is used and shows signs of wear. But it is still in overall excellent condition, especially considering its age. The only things of consequence to mention are that there is a little rust on different components of the unit. Everything I know to remove rust shouldn’t be used on food preparation items. So I haven’t cleaned it off. I would recommend you plan to thoroughly clean this item prior to use, just like you should with all food preparation items. This unit is mounted on a wooden board and I will ship it attached. We are pleased to offer a wonderful primitive 16" L tin sausage stuffer with a solid oak Plunger and a hanging hook. The oak plunger is 10 1/4" L with a mushroom style handle and 2 7/8" body diameter. Outside of a few age cracks on its bottom. The plunger is in excellent condition. The tin itself is 12 1/4" L with a 3 1/8" D opening. The seams are fully intact and from aging, there is some rusting on the interior& exterior surfaces but in no way distracts from the quality or apperaance of this vintage item.
