Vintage Commercial Hot Press Griddle Sandwich Toaster Grill is in used working condition. Shows signs of use. Including minor scratches, which are just cosmetic and do not affect the operation of the unit. I do not know much about this piece of equipment and what it's use is. My best guess is that it is a sandwich toaster or press. The surface of the grill gets hot on both the top and the bottom of the plate. The lever raises and lowers that grill plate piece, and when lowered it appears to be low enough that if you had a pan with a sandwich on it, it would press against that sandwich and heat the top part of it. The grill plate gets hot enough on both sides to cook on. Unit measures approximately 16" wide. 31-1/2" deep, and 6-1/2" tall. Garland commercial 6-burner range (w/ 24" griddle)
This beautiful beast was part of the reason we bought our house. But we remodeled the kitchen and we had to get a residential sized stove. This 6 burner, dual oven, griddle is a blast to cook with. We once made 36 pies in one day! I once fried a dozen eggs at once! Plus- the pilots keep the oven warm enough that it's perfect for keeping food warm after you're done cooking(or even warming plates before serving dinner) I believe that this oven was purchased in 1986(not by me, previous home owners) All of the wear is reasonably cosmetic considering how many thousand meals it help make. ANTIQUE CIRCA 1883 "ERIE" EARLY GRISWOLD BAILED ROUND GRIDDLE CAST IRON COOKWARE
Offered is this cast iron 12 inch diameter Bailed Skillet impressed marked"ERIE" 12 and weighing 5 pounds 8 ounces. This was made by the Griswold Mfg. Co. Circa 1883. This is in excellent displayable and useable condition. Its original heavy wire bail handle is slightly bent out of shape and has minor pitting. The cooking surface is smooth with factory honed lines still visible. There is one small(3/32" dia. production pit along the edge of the cooking surface. The bottom sits flat with no wobble, there is no chips, cracks or rust and it is very clean and well seasoned.
