These Presto fry pans are great because they have multi purposes. Not only are they good for frying but some deep frying and slow cooking. The heat setting ranges from warm all the way to 400 degrees. The dome lid makes it possible to fit things like baked apples. Small chickens and stuffed green peppers. It's non stick and immersible which makes cleaning painless. You can make a real mess and then unplug it's probe and throw the whole thing in soapy water. I did test it and it works perfectly.
