This charming piece is complete with Donald’s head as the stopper and is free of any cracks. Chips, flea bites, hairlines, etc. The color is gorgeous and the shine is impeccable! Whoever owned this piece took very good care of it even after their child was grown! We’re not sure if Donald’s head originally had cork around the stopper. If it did. It’s completely void of it now. This is a food warmer made by the Sheridan Silver company of Taunton. Mass. I tested it and it still works! I'm not sure when it was made, but the 1970's would be my guess. It is 7 inches in diameter, and almost 12" long when including the wooden handle, which has some paint wear. See photos. Very nice Swiss-German 2 candle Brass food warmer. Very good condition. 11 1/2" long. 7" wide, 2 1/2" high, weighs 1lb 14oz. Candle pots are separate and brass. There is a removable center support. My parents purchased this item while traveling in Europe in the 60's. Mother liked Germany. Austria, and Switzerland and anything of this nature, cook ware, came from those areas.
