This is so Rare I couldn't find one! or any information on this Thermador. I do know its at least 30' by the emblem. Also Thermador And Electrical manufacturing merged in 1930& the metal tag on bottom has both names. It is Black Porcelain Enamel and very clean for its age it works like it should. Cord is in great shape& light still lights up on front when in use. The oil catch drawer is also very clean. The top is removable for easy cleaning. It measures 22 1/2" across top& 6" tall& 15" front to back. This would be a great piece for anyones collection. Or be Unique& use in or out side your vintage trailer. Please see pics. Vintage Electric Stove Top and Hood with griddle and broiler - Chambers Brand
This auction is for a vintage Chambers brand Mid-Century Modern electric stove top and matching hood. I am remodeling my kitchen and am replacing these original 1950s appliances. The house was built around 1950 and these units have been in place since then. The stove top has 4 electric coils. 2 large and 2 small. All 4 are in good working condition. In the middle is a fifth large cooking feature that acts as both a griddle on top, and a broiler underneath. The griddle raises up via a lever/nob on the front and exposes a broiler pan underneath. This feature is controlled by a fifth temperature control knob. There is also a lever to adjust the distance of the broiler pan from the heating element above. There is also a timer feature with bell. Stovetop dimensions are 42 x 25 inches. The hood is original brownish copper color and contains a fan ... moreand light. The light works but the fan does not. Have not tried to get the fan working. Perhaps an electrical problem. Hood is also 42 inches wide. This would be a great purchase for someone restoring a mid-century modern home.
