Colten started fishing at the young age of file; what was originally a family hobby turned into a lifelong passion. At the age of eleven he discovered fly fishing and never looked back. When Colten’s friends started taking an interest in the sport in 2011, he was able to realize the potential he possessed to become a fly fishing guide. Following his dreams, Colten teamed up with Colorado Trout Fisher to share his passion with everyone he encounters.

Colten grew up on an 800 acre ranch where he raised wolves, rode dirt bikes, and learned to hunt. He enjoys everything about the outdoors from climbing up the mountains to snowboarding down them. When stuck indoors Colten is either creating his own fly patterns or running his restaurant.
