Antique AURORA Silver AESTHETIC Ornate Engraved Tilting Hot Water/Coffee Pot
Here is a very ornate antique silverplated hot water or coffee tilting pot with stand and matching cup. It is marked as made by the Aurora Silver Plate Mfg Co and is triple plated. The pieces are numbered 44 for the pot. 044 on the stand and 047 on the bottom of cup. It is definately from the Aesthetic movement period with multi-motif Japanese influence. It is richly engraved with a floral like swag or curtains with tassels. Below the spout has what looks to be figural ears of corn. It has bands that are decorated with flowers, wheat and running dog or fox. The cup is also engraved with a floral motif and the same band with the fox/dog on it. It also has a face on the handle. The stand too has the same dog/fox band with very ornate deocorative openwork. The base has a little deocrative stopper to keep the pot from tipping backwards. The pot ... moreis double walled and has a little metal flapper on the inside of the spout. Sadly this grouping is not perfect. The little decorative piece of scrollwork on the underside of the stand's handle has broken out. But is included as you can see it in the photo. Also the end of the little side hook to hang the cup is broken off and missing. The lower area below the spout looks a a little pushed in, not sure if this is normal and is from when it was made or not. It seems to be a pretty sturdy piece and pushing this in would be pretty hard. Below the spout in the open area it is engraved with a date of"Sept. 14, 1881" The base of the cup is a little bent so it does not sit pefectly flat. I have to say though I don't think this pot was used much at all. The plating looks really nice, hardly any scratching and it is quite clean inside and out, this goes for the cup as well. The stand measures about 16 3/4" tall to the top of handle. The pot measures about 11" tall and almost 6" wide across the base. The cup is about 3 7/8"tall. I think the winner will be overall quite impressed with the decorativeness and ornate workmandship of this piece. It's

Antique Coffee Pot Warmer - Everhot Brand - w/Original Cord - Hot Plate - Toledo
This is an antique coffee pot warmer. At least that is what it would be used for today. Also called a hot plate. I purchased this item at an estate sale. When I plugged it into an electrical socket. The ceramic and wound wire center grid began to heat up and felt warm to the touch. The electrical cord and plug look to be the originals. The ceramic grid measures 5 inches in diameter. The warmer stands 4.5 inches high. Note. It stands on three legs. The warmer appears to be complete. Even the Bakelite bumpers on the bottom of each leg are intact. It needs a thorough cleaning. Plus the chrome exterior is surface-rusted as you can see in the photos. The only brand name I could find on this item is the word Everhot stamped into the ceramic center. Grindmaster Commercial Single Cup Pod Brewing System. This unit is a digitally controlled commercial coffee/tea brewer. The OPOD brews one cup of coffee or tea at a time. It has been designed to maximize your drinking pleasure by brewing a cup of coffee or tea of your choice under optimum brewing conditions. This brewer uses coffee or tea pods ranging in size from 57 to 61 mm. The OPOD can be plumbed into a water supply. If a water line is not available. The brewer can be used as a pour over. The brewer uses 1300 watts of 120 volt electricity on a 15 amp single pole circuit. If the brewer is plumbed in direct, then it will refill automatically. If it is used in the pourover mode, the unit must be refilled manually as needed.
