Up for sale is an Old Vintage Antique Steampunk Vom Ohms Volt Gauge Electrical Scientific Tester Meter Instrument Machine. This was obtained from the estate of someone who collected radio tubes and he worked with various vintage electronics(TV's. Radios, bulbs etc. He also had a collection of radio& tube advertising and memborabilia, as well as tubes and various accessories, many of which I will be listing for sale. I don't know if he was an employee of one of the companies or possibly a salesman or service person. This particular machine was used to test something but I'm not sure what. It's a heavy wood box with a panel on the interior that holds a few gauges and an electrical cord. This machine is UNTESTED. The inside has several buttons& initials on the panel. It has a Jewel Electrical Instrument Co. Gauge that ... moreused for Volts& another that's for Milliamperes& says OHMS on the panel above it. There's a chart or schematic paper that's attached to the inside of the box that's in very poor condition- it's intact but displays mold/mildew spots. Darkening, discoloration etc. The wood box itself is in 2 pieces(it appears to not be hinged properly) There are a few tags attached to the box that someone has written some things on(I didn't want to remove them) The wood has some writing on it as well as displaying nicks. Scratches, dirt, debris, tape/paper residue etc. Please use zoom function to see condition in all photos. Photo with soda can is for sizing reference.
