This Staco has been tested and is fully functional. Input is 120V. Output is 0-120V or 0-140V at 15 amps. There is some cosmetic wear and a couple dings. But functionality is fine. Up for auction is a 0-140vac Powerstat Variac made in the USA by the Superior Electric Co. Bristol, Conn. This item came from the San Diego City College by way of a legitimate auction. As can be seen clearly in the pictures this device is in excellent condition having no ugly dents, scratches or rust in either the front cover or the tinwork and the power cord is undamaged also. In fact it doesn’t look like it was used much at all. Apart from a couple of stickers the only defect is that the ID number C02109 has been etched faintly on the front cover. I connected my DVM to the transformer to show you both the low and high outputs.
