The side of the centrifuge where the lid plastic is cracked is scraped. As seen in photos. The lid doesn't stay up when opened. Which means the gas spring device that is supposed to hold the lid up must be replaced. Also. Rubber foot pad under front left side of unit is missing. Clay Adams Dynac Centrifuge Bench/ Table Top Model No. 0101(420101) with 12-Place. Fixed Angle Rotor& 12 Stainless Tubes The unit was purchased at a business closing and is in great working order. I have run the centrifuge for approximately 10- 12 minutes at varying speeds. All without problems. The electric brake worked on all settings. The motor is very quite and there is no wobble/shaking while the unit is running. There is some cosmetic wear— to the base. Please note the dent on the front and some small scuffs/scratches. The lid needs a new lock latch, but is not cracked or showing any other problems. Also, there is very, very minor oxidation to the unit base, but it is merely cosmetic. The fixed angle rotor is rock solid and comes with all 12 stainless tubes, which have been thoroughly cleaned. I can’t find any issues with the main ... morebearing(no leaks) either. None of these scratches or dents are affecting the unit in anyway. I did forget to include the rotor retaining nut, but rest assured that it is OEM and included. I’m certainly no expert on these, but it seems to be running very solidly. Please check the images carefully. The items pictured are the ones you will receive. Thermo Fisher Scientific DNA120 Speedvac Concentrator System For sale- a Thermo Fisher Scientific DNA120 Speedvac Concentrator System. Specifically it is a DNA120-115. But all that tells you is the AC input voltage. Most of the Speedvacs I have acquired over the years have been old and tired. This one appears to have been manufactured in 2009. And in relative terms is in pristine condition. Yes there are a few nicks to the finish on the front. And some scuffs and scratches to the acrylic top. But the Teflon interior coat looks like new and overall it is VERY nice. The only issue that needs to be addressed is that it is missing the left rear mounting foot. I assume it performs best if it is level so at the very least you would need to come up with something to go underneath it back there. And it probably needs to be held away from the table ... moreor countertop surface. As in the High position at least it generates a fair amount of heat. I set the thing on 2.05 figuring I would let it run for a couple of minutes to see what happened. But that turned out to be 2 hours and 5 minutes. I just let it run that long anyway to make sure it didn’t have issues. As far as I can tell it doesn’t. Replace the back leg and I think you should be ready to go. I believe it is equipped with the RD36 rotor. Which not surprisingly holds 36 microcentrifuge tubes and is the standard rotor for this model. When you first start a run the built-in vacuum pump quickly exhales a reasonable amount of the interior volume. Then it settles in at a much lower output. I have no way to quantify the vacuum achieved but the pump at least is working. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However.
