This Tube Tester is very good looking with only minor wear. This was made in the 1945-46 era. The design was made by Hickock, it was licensed and assembled by Supreme Corporation in Greenwood Miss. The manual appears completed without any significant torn or worn pages. Since in it partially working it might be any easy fix. I just don't have time. My loss is your gain. Has some paint& finish wear/scratches etc maybe other surface imperfections and might look even nicer with the cabinet simply touched up or repainted. The center tuning knob is missing but similar vintage style knobs are plentiful& reasonably priced on eBay. I know our other EICO 320(listed separately in our other listings) does have the correct same center knob. The display lettering and numbers look in decent condition and the knobs are all original. When it's not under close-up scrutiny it's really not bad to look at and just hoping someone could use it. Maybe someone who already owns one could use it as a spare as extra tubes& transformers& knobs etc might be nice to have. Overall still in decent enough shape though and we took interior inside photos too so you can see the good condition of the interior components. This

Signal Corps I-177-B Mutual Conductance Tester W/NOS HS-16A Headset!
For sale is a used Signal Corps I-177-B Dynamic Mutual Conductance tester"and" a NOS/NIB HS-16A headset. This tester is in good working condition overall. I acquired it recently with little history so performed the following procedures: Put it on a variac and started at 40 volts to 120 volts over a two day period. Replaced the fuse bulb with an NOS bulb(after I broke the original working bulb) Tested a sample of tubes including rectifier and power in 80% of the sockets and compared results to my calibrated(by Dan Nelson) TV-7D/U tester. Performed a light surface cleaning In general I would say the tubes tested on the I-177-B came out a little lower(5%15% than my TV-7. However I have 3 calibrated TV-7's and this one is the higher testing of the three. In other words, the I-177-B wasn't very far off the mark. The tester does ... moreshow signs of light oxidation and a few paint chips, but the sockets were tight and made good contact. The original documentation is very weathered but usable. The power cord is very pliable and should not need to be replaced. The metal case is decent with no major damage/dents. Serial Number is#6693. The headset as you may know was originally intended to test for noise on these testers as well as TV-7's and Hickok 539's. I have never performed this type of test but might give it a try. Your headset will come in an original unopened paper foil package. The one you see pictured is one my others so you can get the idea. George Kaye Audio Labs Small signal tube checker Extremely rare audiophile grade small signal tube tester. This is a really cool unit that not only allows you to match preamp tubes for gain and output. But also to audio test them for microphonics using headphones or the built in speaker; even a scope output to see the tube's actual wave! You can even hook up a signal generator or music source to the input and listen to/see the tube's response. It is in good cosmetic shape considering the age of the unit. Some scratches. This tester does preform all the tests. And functions in all positions. I have noticed the high gain microphonic test to be very sensitive. Some tubes that would work in most amp positions seem exhibit some microphonic tendencies in this circuit. It could need some adjustment. Or it might be perfectly fine. Maybe that's ... morewhat makes this tester such a good mousetrap for tube screening! I am listing and selling it for use as is. With no reserve and no returns since I don't have any way of ensuring that it is 100% calibrated after all these years though all the basic functions do seem to work. I just can't justify having it around at this point. THIS IS IN CLEAN CONDITION AND APPEARS TO HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN A DRY ENVIRONMENT. CASE DOES HAVE A FEW SMALL DENTS AND HAS SCRATCHES. THE LINE ADJUSTMENT AND LINE TEST WORKS. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS TESTER FOR SOME TIME NOW AND IT DOES WORK. OBVIOUSLY I HAVE NOT TESTED EVERY TUBE IT TESTS OR EVEN USED EVERY TUBE SOCKET IT HAS. I HAVE INCLUDED PHOTOS OF A GOOD TYPE 10 VT-25 TUBE. A KNOWN WEAK 2A3 AND A GOOD 1626 TUBE ALL BEING TESTED. THE SHORT LIGHT HAS WORKED IN THE PAST FOR ME WHEN I CAME ACROSS A TUBE WITH A SHORT. ONE TUBE I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TEST WITH THIS IS AN 807. THE TUBE LIGHTS UP BUT THATS ALL. CAN GET NO READINGS. HAS A SOLID STATE RECTIFIER IN PLACE OF THE 83 AND THE WINNER MAY WANT TO REPLACE IT WITH AN 83 TUBE. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS CALIBRATED AND THAT WOULD BE ADVISED.
