I owned a repair center for 30 years. As part of my equipment inventory. I owned 5 Sencore SC61 scopes. I was getting frustrated with Sencore's repair and recalibration prices so I tried using another company that specializes in Sencore repair. I sent in on of my scopes and received back a completely different one. It was the same model but not the one I sent in. It even had another shops name on it. They explained to me that their policy was"rebuilt exchange" on Sencore products. I wish they would have told me that before I sent it in. None the less I got pissed, put it back in the box and put it in storage. I've since retired and don't need it anymore. I'm cleaning things out now and thought I would list it to see if there is any market for these. I have been using this device for about 1 year and it has worked perfectly. If you want to do work on FM Tuners this is a brilliant all in one device for generating clean FM signals. Physically it is very clean with a bright white front. It is guaranteed to power on and provide both a mono and stereo output. The internal audio generator works as well and it can accept inputs from external audio generators as well which I have tested. It comes with no cables other than a power cable. If you would like a 3 ft homemade coax then please ask and I will include it. Here is a vintage Sencore TC-136 Mighty Mite Tube tester. as you can see from the pics I have tested with the only tube I have. Fortunately is was a good tube and worked with the unit to show it will work. It comes complete with a good power cord. Corded tester, all original knobs, cover and handle. Also included are 3 Mighty Mite Set up books. Form nos. 957, 674 and 514. All are in good condition, but there is some left over adhesive from double stick tape used many years ago. The residue is also on the inside of the units' cover as you can also see in the pics. The Sencore Service Manual is also included. Form#266. The case has some scrapes and scuffs. But the surface of the tester is in very good condition. The gauge front is not damaged and it looks to have never been opened. The metal does need some cleaning as it does look aged. ... moreOddly. SENCORE* FS134 FIELD STRENGTH METER* For the FM Band and All VHF and UHF Television Channels. Comes complete with brand new"C" batteries. When I took it apart I found that the batteries had been left in it and had leaked. I spent several hours cleaning off the chassis with a soft Brass brush. Soft paint brush and contact cleaner, only one of the battery contacts was involved with the leakage and the actual contact was clean. I removed the vast majority of the"stuff" from the chassis and everything is now in good shape. I tried the FM section and received our local station and a couple of other stations using just a two inch piece of wire and myself as an antenna. I'm sure that it will work fine with a real antenna connected. I didn't try the VHF or UHF sections because this is an analog device. The dial cord seems ... morein good shape but could use a little tightening because the dial slips slightly as you turn the tuning knob. The outside steel case and cover has no dents but is scratched up from normal use. I downloaded a complete instruction manual for it and will send it with it. Like everything Sencore makes it is a great rugged piece of machinery. Everything is over engineered and well designed.
