Set of 2 ALBION Heavy Duty Cast Iron Swivel Caster Wheels Spoked Design 5 Inch
For your consideration are these two Albion cast iron swivel caster wheels. I bought these casters at a local farm sale and although the wheels show a little surface rust I think they are new or unused. The wheels are of spoked design with a 5 inch diameter and 2 inch width. The axle through the center of the wheel has a diameter of about 1/2 inch. The swivel mechanism has ball bearings and each wheel has 3 grease zerks for lubrication. Each caster has an overall height of about 6 1/2 inches. The rectangular mounting plate has dimensions of about 4 X 4 1/2 inches. Each caster weighs about 7 1/2 pounds. If you wish to check the Albion website I think you will agree that these casters have a load carrying capacity of about 1000 pounds each. One Albion Cast Iron 6" X 2" Heavy Duty Rigid Caster Wheel Non Marking
For sale is ONE cast iron six-inch by 2 inch caster wheel. This wheel does have a green finish which I believe makes it non-marring or non-marking. To the best of my knowledge these were acquired from a factory that was closing many years ago. They had sat on the shelf and we're never used. They are dirty and do have a little overall wear. But for all intensive purposes are new. The wheels might have one or two scratches but I don't think were ever in use. Every wheel spins freely with no issue. The baseplate on these windows measures approximately 4.5" x 4" Each wheel weighs almost 8 pounds. And does have a grease fitting built in. The entire unit measures approximately 7 1/2 inches tall by approximately 6 inches wide by approximately 4 inches deep. I don't know the actual rating of these wheels but based on similar ... moreones on the Internet I'm guessing that they can handle around 1200 pounds per wheel. Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. Up for auction is Very Heavy Duty Vintage Cast Iron Swivel Caster. Wheel is Cast Iron and the rest is Heavy Thick Steel. Wheel measures approx. 6" tall and it is 3" wide and the whole assembly is approx. 7 1/2" tall and the base measures approx. 5 1/4" X 7 1/4" This wheel is a monster it weighs almost 35 lbs. by itself. The top of the Grease Zirk on the swivel has been sheared off but looks like what is left can be dug out with an easy out. See pics. The Wheel is marked Caster Concepts 06300-20-34 A129. The bodies are cast semi-steel with 1 1/4" deep center hole measuring 1 3/4" at the top and 1 1/4" at the bottom. The wheels are 2 1/2" semi-steel.
