Up for bid is a vintage set of four industrial cast iron. Triangular base, dolly wheels or castors. Usually seen as a set of 3 this auction listing includes a fourth unit. Each triangular cast iron unit appears to be in perfect condition without any chips, cracks, or missing parts to the metal. Each unit stands approximately 2 to 2-1/2" high x about 6-7" across. These types of wheels or castors have notably been used to move very heavy objects, like, but not limited to refrigerators, other heavy appliances, machinery, furnaces, air conditioners and large items too awkward to handle to move otherwise. The axle through the center of the wheel has a diameter of about 1/2 inch. The swivel mechanism has ball bearings and each wheel has 3 grease zerks for lubrication.
