Each triangular cast iron unit appears to be in perfect condition without any chips, cracks, or missing parts to the metal. Each unit stands approximately 2 to 2-1/2" high x about 6-7" across. These types of wheels or castors have notably been used to move very heavy objects, like, but not limited to refrigerators, other heavy appliances, machinery, furnaces, air conditioners and large items too awkward to handle to move otherwise. Incredibly unique Antique or vintage or machine age or industrial revolution cast iron heavy duty double wheel industrial swivel casters patent date of MAY 1 1877 Mounting plate also is designed to pivot with slotted hole and plate bears on a rotating disc to distribute/ carry load Mounting plates are all clearly marked with"PAT MAY 1 1877" Each Mounting plate assembly consists of 4 pieces Only other marking is a"5" on the carrier body for the wheels cast into the piece Mounting plate is 2 inches in diameter and nearly 1/4 inch thick with two mounting holes. And one central hole for locating pin Patent date appears to be cast in and not later stamped. But is very crisp Natural patina. Very old typical condition for period pieces A couple"bites" on a couple wheels from use All wheels rotate just fine and pivot ... morejust fine. Also Bearing discs/ wheels all rotate just fine. 4 Antique Vintage Large Cast Iron Industrial Casters Cart Wheels Salvage Parts
This is a nice set of 4 antique heavy duty cast iron caster wheels. They are in good condition. They swivel and roll smooth. The wheel itself is approx. 3 inches by 1 1/4 inches. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The mounting piece measures approx. 4 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. It is marked on mounting plate 1050 3 A 3. Each caster wheel weighs approx. 3 3/4 pounds. They are marked Bond 1018 on the wheel. The swivel part has ball bearings. The wheel has a hole in it for oiling. We have cleaned most of the grease and grime from these. But they still need some rust cleaned off. This is a very nice heavy duty set of wheel casters. Guaranteed to be old and original. Satisfaction guaranteed. Shipping is $1 1.30. Here we have a set of 4 table rollers that we believe came off of a stroke sander table. The set of 4 includes two sets of two different types. One type has a wheel that is about 1.75" W and 2.75" in diameter with no groove. The other type has a wheel that is 1.75" W x 3 1/8" in diameter with a 5/16" wide groove that is 1/4" deep. Both types are attached to a base that measures 3" W x 3.5" L x 2.75" T. There are three countersunk 1/4" wide holes. Vintage Set 4 Heavy Duty Industrial Bassick 6" Cast Iron Casters Swivel Plate
Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. Set of 4 Vintage Caster Wheels- Very Steampunk/Industrial! These mammoth wheels measures 8" diameter. The mounting bracket measures 7.5" x 6.5" The height of the entire bracket and wheel measures 10.5" The wheels themselves are 2" thick. Weighing 14 lbs a piece. These would look great on any upscale on any steampunk or industrial creation. We will be happy to ship in the cheapest way possible or do a local pickup to avoid shipping costs. This is a nice old set of caster wheels. They are made of cast iron. They all match. They are marked with numbers. But will need to be cleaned with degreaser before you can read the numbers. They have grease and grime, but will clean ok. There are no cracks. Each caster weighs approx. 4 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 1/4 inch wide and approx. 3 inches across. The mounting plate measures approx. 4 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This is a very nice heavy duty set. Guaranteed to be old and original. Satisfaction guaranteed. For your consideration we have 4 vintage Colson 4" wheel casters. Model# 5-4-138. 2 swivel and the other two have been soldered to remain stationary. They all have grease fittings. But one is missing the actual fitting. The base they're attached to measures 4" x 4 1/2" They are about 5 1/2" high and the wheels are 4" by 2" These are very heavy duty with a combined weight of about 28 lbs.
