For sale is a pair of vintage antique"Thomas Truck and Caster Company Keokuk Iowa" The caster is 8" and the width of the wheel with the rubber on is 10" These wheels can be used either way. The rubber will slide right off leaving you a great 8" all cast iron wheel or left as is giving you a great 10" wheel. The bearings where broken so I discarded them. The axle opening is 1 7/8" and the axle through and through ... moreis 2 1/4" The lettering on the spoke is raised with the companies name. This company was in business from 1937 until 1965 based on my research. I have attached a picture of the original factory with the ghost image of the companies advertisement still showing.

Antique Industrial Metal Wheel Casters! HUGE 8" wheels! 4 Set Table Legs
Up for sale are these 4 incredible antique casters. There are 2 pairs- one pair has asolid wheel. The other has 4 spokes. The 2 with the solid wheel measure approximately 8 1/4" in diameter and stands 14 1/4" tall, while the wheels with spokes measure approximately 8" and stand 13 3/4" tall. There are factory made holes in the bars which extend from the wheel to connect to the table/cart/etc so mounting should not be difficult. These are in beautiful industrial condition with a solid patina. Since they're so old the locking mechanisms would need some work to release the break/tighten the breaks. One is missing the upper arm to set the break(see photo) and one of the solid wheels has a yellow rust on one side. One of them has a spot that does not have rust/patina and still looks like a grey metal. These are very aged ... moreand would look incredible as legs for a table. Commericial Cast Iron Scaffold Wheels 8 inch by 1 3/8 diam.shaft
For sale are 4 cast iron scaffold wheels.They are actually 2 sets of twins.One set says H B98A stamped on the metal.The other set has no real markings other than the wheels say 8 inch by 2.They are all the same diameter shaft 1 3/8 inch and are all the same height about 13 inches high. All the brakes work really well nice and tight. The only negative might be some rubber tire wear.These are definitely old school really solid well made wheels.Please look carefully at pictures before bidding.
