The wheels are designed to roll on the beveled edge to keep a low profile. Would also work on a table. There is some slight discoloration on the finish. They all roll and turn the way they should. This lot contains six matching heavy duty swivel wheel casters. All marked"Bassick USA" on the stem. The bases- four mounting screw holes to each one- are made of steel and the ball wheels appear to be made of brass. To make it easier to steer and navigate, they have a two-way swivel action- one half of the wheel swivels inside the other, while the whole wheel swivels against the base. Because they are made in two halves, the wheels don't form a perfect circle, but the diameter, depending on where you measure it, falls within the range of 2" and 2½" The bases are about 1½" x 1½" They all appear to be in generally good and functional condition. Casters are from an Etnies shoe display rack. They have a.75 in long threaded post x.5 in across. Wheels are made out of rubber or something similar. They have steel ball bearings for swivel.
