for your consideration we have a orchard industries inc. action fishing rod in excellent condition. the rod is 50" with the handle its total length is 61" long. the handle is made from aluminum with bakelite grip and fore grip. The rod is steel with 3 eyes and the tip, the eyes are wrapped in copper and are all tight. this fishing rod is a beauty! would make a great wall hanger with a nice vintage reel! CONDITION? with lot's of life left in it. Hub spins smooth(no issues with it) rim spins very straight and true with out any hops. Only issue is with the rim. Side wall has numerous nicks. Dings, and scratches. You don't feel anything during normal braking action, but you can see them clearly. I guess if you spent the time, you could sand down the ruff spots, and it would be fine. White Industries triple crank, rare forged, 94/57, polished, 177.5mm, vintage
For sale is a set of mid 90's vintage White Industries forged cranks. Most cranks of the time focused on light only and were barely functional. These are unique from the era in that they are light. Strong, and stiff. I have had other sets go 6+ years without issues and only retired them because the bike needed replacing. I bought this set around 1999 and rode it for about 4 years on a cross country bike. It's never done drops nor jumps and has not been abused(I weigh 170# As such, there's plenty of life left in them. The worst of the damage is shown in the last picture and is mostly a result of the chain hitting the end of the arm as I rode downhill right foot back. I rate these as an 8 out of 10 condition and I am very picky. Unlike most other cranks of the time. This crank is both Forged and Machined. The hollowed out back is ... morevery similar to the construction of the second generation XTR crank minus the welded on back plate. The shape puts material where needed to resist twisting and bending forces. Made in the USA. Features a high polished finish that can be restored when needed with simple metal polish. I just gave it a quick polish before taking the pictures so you can see how nice they can be with all the flat shiny surfaces. Length is 177.5mm which is slightly longer than the most common 175mm size. The extra length gives you slightly more leverage which essentially gives you an easier time climbing up hills. This crank must be used with a square taper bottom bracket and takes 113 to 117 mm long spindles. The bolt circle pattern is 94/58 which is the mtb compact drive 5 bolt standard. Granny ring spacers are included too. The cranks came about during the 8 speed era so you may need slightly different spacers if you try another setup. With the granny spacers the crankset weighs 466g. Note that these are not the Sugino junk versions. That version only came in 175mm and 94/58 bolt pattern. This cloth is a 60" X 82" rectangle. This is a gorgeous vintage tablecloth from Fashion Industries. Although I think that was a reasonably priced linens line. This looks and feels like a more expensive item. It is in perfect condition. The dark blue border and matching"runner" printed in the center of the cloth look very much like a painting. The colors are rich and bold. This print features fruit- pomegranates(or figs) watermelons grapes and pears and gooseberries. I am pretty sure this is not yellowed. I have close-ups of the hem. Not sure if one is more yellowed than the other- or if the hem thread is just another shade of off-white. Please email with any questions! I do not see any stains. The complete bottom bracket with titanium bolts weighs in at a scant 186 grams. What's so awesome about this bb besides it's incredible quality and light weight is its infinite adjustability.
