Reel to reel 3M / Scotch 226 1/4" tape on 10.5" metal reel with storage box
This auction is for a 10.5" metal reel containing 1/4" standard play(2500ft) 3M/ Scotch 226 audio recording tape in original storage box. REEL is original Scotch/ 3M. In excellent condition, no scratches or scuffs, flanges flat and true. TAPE is Scotch/ 3M 226 in excellent condition. It has been recorded on ONCE and then stored, has never been edited, and is guaranteed SPLICE FREE. It records and replays to original specifications, with no obvious sign of oxide shedding. It dates from the years when certain 3M tapes suffered from'sticky shed' and may need to be baked in order to be useful in the future. BOX is original 3M in excellent condition, structurally sound and clean. It has been annotated fairly heavily on back(see photograph) and has one small marking on spine.
