So I can only guess that it is a computer interface for CAMAC racks. As the only other DSP Technology products I have come across were CAMAC racks and plug-ins. I see it referred to online as a DMA Direct Memory Access Interface but I don’t know that for a fact. Rather than waste time pasting other descriptions of the board here. I would rather that you did your own homework relative to any intended application before you buy. I assume that if you are here checking this out you probably already know what you need to know about VME boards. It looks like VMIC was acquired by GE somewhere along the way. But I am guessing that you already knew that as well. I don’t see the GE logo on this one anywhere so either it predates the acquisition or VMIC continued as a freestanding unit for awhile.
