Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm 2.8 Tessar converted to a Pentax K mount! Red T version. Which have the best coatings, with very clear glass. No scratches, haze, fungus or other abnormalities. Some very light cleaning marks and a few specks of dust typical of a lens this age, but nothing that will affect image quality. The mount will allow for infinity focus, but where this lens shines is closeup photos that expose that awesome Tessar bokeh. It has an artistic quality that cannot easily be described, almost like an oil painting.This is a very small lens and it does not cover the electrical contacts on my K-5, so I made a cheesy little ring out of neoprene to cover them and eliminate any light leakage. It works great, but looks a little funny. I'll include it but you may wish to fashion something nicer if it is an issue on your camera. I don’t have personal experience of most of the lenses that I sell, but I do have one of these in my own kit that I use with my Canon EOS film and digital SLR‘s, and I can confirm that it is one of the sharpest lenses that I have ever used. It also has excellent contrast due to the sophisticated lens coating. It can be fitted to your camera with an M42 adapter. Adapters for most cameras. Flak is used with heavy antiaircraft guns for indirect fire against ground targets and for reciprocal laying. A modified type is designed for use with the predictor. When mounted in their respective sockets with the azimuth scales set to zero, the line of sight of the panoramic telescope on the predictor is 180° from that of the predictor telescope. The reason for the eyepiece of the gun sight being 90° from the axis of the gun is for convenience as the operator can stand at the right side of the gun and look into the sight at right angles to the axis of the gun. Hi. This is an antique POWELL& LEALAND MONOCULAR MICROSCOPE with all the parts and accessories in the photographs. I know little about the subject so I do not know if this is complete or not so please study the many photos carefully before bidding. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have but please keep them simple. Apart from a very light dusting I have not attempted to clean any of the pieces. The microscope stands 16 inches in height in the position seen in the gallery photograph. The iron stand is a very dark green which is speckled with gold. The piece in the tobacco tin is made from glass. There is a tiny bone in the small round container. The leather carrying handle on top of the case is missing and the case itself could do with a polish. The lock is missing as well. WWII German 10/50 Dienstglas/ Binoculars Late War RLN+ Zeiss, Jena after 1944
RARE 10/50 Dienstglas. In Late 1944. Zeiss, Jena 3 letter code was changed to RLN+ so not very many of this code were produced. The 10/50 Dienstglas was primarily issued to units that required longer range observation.Panzer, Flak, Sniper and other Observation units were issued these glasses. This set is in excellent optical and cosmetic condition. There is more than 90% of the original finish remaining. And altho there appears to be some form of discoloration to the inside of the tubes(see last two photos) the glasses function well, with no effect to the field of view. These glasses have adjustment to BOTH ocular focus rings. And both function well. Altho there is no Ocular Cover or Neck Strap, there is a fine German Shoestring also included.
