Description: This auction is for a Carl Zeiss Jena MC electric Flektogon 35mm F2.4 wide angle M42 screw mount lens. It’s in very good condition. Almost like new( optically clear, no scratches, no haze or fungus between the glass elements, only some very-very minimal samll dots. Very nice lens body! MC layer is also perfect. There’re very-very minimal paint missings and scratches on the lens body. Almost 100% brand new feeling! Focusing is smooth. But if you rotate the focusing ring only from focus minimum to infinity, there’s a little blockage at ca. 0.28m. There’s no problem, you can keep rotating to infinity without any problem, you just feel it, nothing else. The aperture works fine. The diaphragm blades move nicely at every aperture position. The aperture blades are clean. There’s no oil on them. Lens body has extremely slight wear. The ... morelens has multi coated layers(MC) on every glass elements. So avoiding the lens from flare, and also has an auto/manual aperture switch. Serial number is: 10153365. It’s very good for macro shots without extension tube. Because focus minimum is 0.19m! This lens has M42 screw mount. So it will fit on all M42 35mm SLR film cameras. Also fit on many other SLR. DSLR or MILC cameras with using a correct adapter. Canon FD. EOS, Nikon F, Sony Alpha, Minolta MD, AF, Pentax K, Olympus OM, E 4/3, micro 4/3, Sony NEX, etc. Many adapters are available on ebay. Since this is an electric version of flektogon. Here we have some type of Carl Zeiss optical device. It is designed to rotate and lock into place on another piece of equipment. Most we have shown the item to have suggested it was part of WW II German large gun of some type. The function of the device is unclear. Looking through the eyepiece. A floating degree wheel of sorts is seen. As the device is moved sideways, the degree wheel rotates. The odd thing is that the wheel is incremented from 0 to 390 degrees(actually 399 degrees) The degree wheel is also visible through a small window in the top. It appears to work somewhat like a compass and pushing the springloaded button on the right side will"freeze" the rotating disc in that position. Highly rated lens. However. I will have to sell for parts and repair only. The blades are stuck fully open and wont close. Appears to be a lot of oil on the blades. The lens glass optics are clean and clear and free from any marks or scratches. I can spot some tiny dust spec particles. Only small though. And shouldn't effect the performance. This is a Carl Zeiss. Jena Tessar 13.5cm f4.5 enlarging lens( 221214) with a 44mm thread mount. It is a little bit larger than the M42 screw mount. The lens is in good condition. The glass has some haze or fungus. But no cleaning marks. The 15 aperture blades are clean and move freely. There is no damage to the front rim. I think this is an enlarging lens. Any other ideas are welcome.

The scope appears to hae a bronze base and chrome plated brass tube and stands about 12" tall. It has some light wear, missing rubber fittings and a rubber tube. The wood dovetailed and handled box(13.5" x 8.5" x 5" 10 lbs total) is in good shape with wear/discoloration on exterior and tape residue on front. Cracks or any other damages on glasses; there's NO fungus, fog, haze or separations inside optical construction; it has maybe three/four MICRO spots/marks on MC's(but it is NORMAL in hi-end Zeiss optics! maybe two MICRO pieses of dust inside; i've checked this lens with digital Canon 7d + M42 adapter and it do AMAZING pictures! MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT+[aperture and focus rings works ok. Without any problems; focus ring works a BIT gritty(i mean it SOUNDS gritty- i'ts NOT and mechanical issue! aperture stops up to f/22; there's NO oil on aperture blades, but blades looks dirty] VISUALLY: EXCELLENT- there's some marks on the lens body(scratches; ... morepaint missings. Etc. as You can see on REAL pictures; NO damages, cracks, dents, etc. only slight dent on filter ring- this is visual issue) for me this lens is still in EXCELLENT- to EXCELLENT for it's age. and it's 100% working! Schönes Objektiv. Die Oberfläche ist frei von Beschädigungen. Die Linsen haben weder Kratzer noch Pilzbefall. Einige Micropartikel im inneren. Die Blende reagiert jedoch nicht! C1940 WW11 Carl Zeiss 7 X 50 Jena Flak (Kuste) Binoculars Rare !!
Please note this pair of World War 11 binoculars are sold on behalf of a friend. The information he has given me is that this pair of World War 11 Carl Zeiss 7 X 50 binoculars were acquired by his father when he was serving abroad during the conflict of World War 11. The binoculars have to the left side an eagle and below this the letter M and to the right side 1V/1. Also to the right side the name Carl Zeiss Jena and D.F. 7 X 50 with a serial number 2074279. The corresponding right side of the binoculars have the words Flak. Kuste) Nr. 10383. From the little research I have undertaken I believe these binoculars would have been used to protect the coastline from aircraft and other attacks. Binoculars look to have possibly been repainted and there is some wear to the edges- please see all images. Leather strap is original. this auction is for a Carl Zeiss Jena Planar 205mm f 4 ser# 64985. This is the second version(black paint) of the early Zeiss Planars. Lens glass is in Mint conditions, the barrel is Mint- probably this lens was never used. It covers 4x5 and 5x7” glass is uncoated. Lens is 80mm tall, front element is 52mm dia. Weight is about 850gr. The iris works fine. Complete with mounting ring. No caps. Nice lens for B&W portrait work.
