This Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8 M42 Prime SLR DSLR Camera lens is in very good. Fully working condition. It fits the standard M42 screw mount, so with a suitable adapter(not supplied but easily found on eBay) it will work with virtually any modern DSLR or SLR. The lens is in great mechanical condition. The manual focus operation is smooth and accurate. The aperture ring is crisp and snappy as it should be. Please note that although the diagphragm blades open and close quickly as they should, there is a tiny amount of oil present on the blades. A CARL ZEISS'JENA' 28-135MM F4~5.4 ZOOM LENS FOR CONTAX/YASHICA. The lens is in nice condition with good clean glass. No haze, Fungus or scratches. The focusing is smooth and the Iris Blades work perfectly. There is a focus issue: The zoom on the longer range works quite well. But the register on the wider angle is incorrect, so in this case, there is probably a Back-Focus issue. Anyone with some technical experience should be able to correct the error. Body shows some scratch marks under the base plate and on the corners and edges. Some light wear also found in some corners. Leather is clean with no drying or cracking. Viewfinder is clear with a few spots of internal dust and what looks like some light fungus starting. Neither of these issues can be seen when looking through the viewfinder. Case is also in good condition showing some scratch and scuff marks along with some wear in the corners. Some light drying but no cracking to the leather found. Zum Verkauf steht ein Biotar 2/58 Objektiv von Carl Zeiss Jena für alle M42(Objektiv-Nummer 5769933) Schutz- und Verschluss-Deckel fehlen leider. Der Fokussier-Ring ist nach all den Jahren etwas schwerfällig geworden und das vordere Gewinde hat eine kleine Delle abbekommen(siehe Bilder) Die das Aufschrauben von Filtern oder Sonnenblende leider nicht möglich machen dürfte. Ein ausführlicher Test. These fantastic lenses can be adapted to most modern digital cameras(Canon Eos.Micro4/3,Sony Nex etc.do your research to find out if it can be adapted to your camera) This is a German made Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 1Q 58mm F2 Exakta bayonet vintage lens. A really early 1950.S type. The 1Q stands for First Quality-a marking that only high end Zeiss products got. Tee lens comes with both caps and a matching Skylight 1A UV filter. The lens is in used but overall nice condition-with normal traces of use on its body-but nothing to worry about. Have a good look at the pictures and judge for yourself its condition. Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50 Binoctar - leather case - excellent condition!
This auction is for a used pair of Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50 binoculars(BINOCTARS i n German on the item) In excellent condition! Please look closely at all ph otos. To the best of my knowledge. The se binoculars were manufactured in the late 40's or early 50's. They have the vintage focus method of individually focusing each eyepiece instead of focusing with a knob that moves both eyepieces at once. I found a pair stated to be circa 1951. That appear to be slightly newer than this pair for sale on a web site that were listed for sale for $995.00. The snap on the case is a newer style than the snap on my case as seen in the ph otos. No close-up photos of the binoculars were shown on the web site. These binoculars are in excellent condition for their age. There is very minor chipping around the very edge of both front lens covers. Plus a slight scratch in the paint on the inside of the lens cap on one side. The lenses themselves are crystal clear as far as I can see. The strap on the binoculars has I'm sure been replaced- I'm not sure if it is leather or plastic. The original leather case itself is in quite good condition for its age. The original thin leather strap for the case evidently broke years ago, and a very stout web strapping harness was made for the case. The leather on the leather/ elastic closure on the front has deteriorated and the pull tip of the closure pulled off when I opened it recently- the tip will be included in case

Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f2.8 lens with the Exakta KE mount
This is a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f2.8 lens( 4696360) with the Exakta KE mount. The lens is in very good condition. The focus ring feels a little stiff. There are light scratches to the aluminum exterior. The glass has no haze or fungus. But does have a couple of very light cleaning marks of the front surface. The 12 aperture blades are clean and move freely. Turning the aperture lever against the spring opens the aperture. When the shutter release is pushed. The aperture stops down. It comes with front and rear caps. There is no damage to the filter rim and a 49mm filter screws on easily.

We have available this one antique brass& metal Carl Zeiss Je na microscope. Serial number is 27161(circa 1890 if my research is correct) Stand style VIa. Comes with a 3x& 6x objective lens. Each has its original brass protective tube with lid. There is anot her wi der diameter objective lens with no mark ings(no tu be) Comes with a 10x& 4x eye piece lens. Comes with the original ca rry box in excellent condition with original key fully functional. It has the wood en holder fo r the eye pieces& lenses. It has an accessor y box with some o ld slides. I didn't see any marked ebola or bubonic plague so no worries there. There is one split on the back panel of the box but appears to have been there for some time and still fully intact. I tested the unit with the 10x eye piece and both objective lenses with a couple old slides. ... moreOptics seem to be excellent with no concerns. The 3x objective lens has lost most of it's brass finish. There is rust on the two screw heads on the slide platform. For sale a beautiful Zeiss Jena 58mm F2 in arriflex standard mount. Comes with its rear and front caps. In good overall condition. The glass is really clean for its age with no visible defects. Coating is very nice. There may be a very few dust specks inside the elements as usual with this type of vintage lens. No haze. No fungus. Cosmetically it look quite used with scratches and fade paint on the barrel. This is not a new lens by any way. There are also small bubbles inside the glass but that is not really a defect. More a statement of its handmade construction. Iris and mechanics work nicely. This lens has many blades and should make for a very nice bokeh. Covers the super35mm/APS-C frame and can be used in a variety of cameras with easily available adapters.
