This lens is in good working order. The focusing helicoid has been re-greased recently. The optics are clean and show no signs of fungus or cleaning scratches but there are a couple of tiny specs of dust within the elements. The aperture blade movements are brisk and sharp. The focusing ring moves smoothly. Not too loose& not too tight. As far as the physical conditions go. This lens is in used but reasonable condition. There are places around the front edge of the filter ring where the black pait has rubbed/chipped off. Over all a very usable lens. This is a Carl Zeiss Jena lens for the Minolta MD 35mm SLR cameras. It is a 35-135 F3.5 to F4.5 zoom lens. This lens is clean and the glass shows no signs of fungus. The zoom is a little stiff between 35mm and 70mm and the action smooths out from 70 to 135mm. This lens also has a macro function at the 35mm end of the range. There are a couple of places where the steel is slightly tarnished and slide holders are a little bent from years of use. There is also some very minor corrosion on them as well. The piece comes with several accessories such as two sets of eye pieces, the original tool to loosen the scope, to swivel on its base and the original bottle of oil to lube it's parts.All this and more is wrapped up in a timeless handcrafted wood box with lock and key. PB adapters are widely available on eBay- check big_is for PB to EOS adapters. Note: I used it with a Canon EOS camera and an adapter; I don't know if electrical contacts(intended for Praktica cameras) still function. The lens is in a working condition. But cosmetically it looks heavily used(see pictures) Smooth focusing, snappy aperture, clean and clear glass(very little dust inside) no scratches or cleaning marks.
