It includes a built-in 5mm scale divided into 50 parts and numbered 0 to 5. The eyelens is focusable in a captive sleeve mounting. The reticle is an integral part of the ocular. Forming a connecting link between the part of the barrel with the eyelens and the lower portion with the field lens. The barrel is nickel-plated and shows much wear. The barrel upper portion is engraved'B&L.O.CO. and also includes a description of the reticle- DIV. 0.1mm. Magnification 7.5x Diameter 23.2mm Focusing eyelens Integral 5mm scale. Divided 0.1mm Uncoated optics The optical portion of the eyepiece is excellent. The scale is very well-defined and easily readable. The lacquered part of the bezel is good. But the plating is rather poor(see photos) The lenses, being uncoated, probably date the ocular to the 1940's, possibly earlier. Vintage microscope stage by E. Letz, Wetzlar and sold by Ross of London
This is a beautifully engineered precision instrument engraved with the name of E. Leitz. Wetzlar(so I assume made by Leitz) but I am afraid that I do not know what it actually is(nor does anyone I have ever shown it to) I bought it out of curiosity at an antiques fair many years ago but had forgotten about it until I came across it again whilst clearing out a cupboard recently. It is contained in what is obviously its original custom made box which is lined with velvet(rather dusty I'm afraid) and with the Leitz name embossed on the outside lid. On the inner lid is a label with the name of Ross Ltd. 31 Cockspur Street, London SW so I assume it was sold by Ross. The box measures approximately 14cm x 12cm and is about 4.5 cm deep. With the box it weighs about 0.7kg. Because of the Leitz and Ross names I also assume it had some purpose ... moreconnected with optics- possibly measuring lenses? but that is as far as I can guess. This is a very cool World War I era antique/vintage Bausch& Lomb microscope acquired from the University of Colorado. Boulder. Ocular, lenses, and body are label'Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester, NY. This unit has a cast iron body and I believe the rest of it brass, though some of it has been enameled black. One of the lenses is labeled 170mm and the other 16mm. Light passes through the optics, but that is the extent of my testing. 93' is etched into the side of the ocular and stenciled onto the base. Table has a small crack on the side. Old Antique Vintage Leitz Wetzlar Brass Microscope Model # 272910
This is an old Leitz Wetzlar brass embellished microscope. No 272910 In fairly good condition overall. Missing one objective lens(it has the 44x and the 10x) Missing the mechanical stage slide holder. But still has the dovetail gear on the side Needs a cleaning- and has some chipping in the black paint over the iron armature- the usual wear. Ocular lens is 10x. Brass is good- scratches seem to only be in the lacquer covering the brass. Needs to be polished- brass is more yellow than is showing in the pictures. Overall it functions properly and there is no mechanical issues. Tube. Condenser and fine focus all seem to be working fine and smoothly. Look at pics- email questions. Ships only in the USA. Unless you really want to pay the extra shipping overseas- it is heavy and would cost a lot more to ship.

you are bidding on a Vintage microscope by E. Leitz Wetzlar good condition. Made in germany in the 1920s. No. 273167, w/ metal horse shoe style base. It comes with 6x&10x eyepieces and it is equipped with 10x-45x-100x magnifying lenses. It includes 4 metal conainers- 1/12 oel immersion, a#3 container, a#6L container and cedern-oel container. The cedern container is seized close and feels heavy, There may be a objective inside. It looks as if someone has used pliers or something to try to force open as container has some gauge marks on outside. I can not open with hands, I’m not sure if it can be opened again. There are two boxes full of glass slides, cleaning cloth and an empty eye dropper. It all comes inside original wooden box that is pretty beat up but still intact. The old key and lock still function. The box has a storage compartment ... morew/ lid and two racks to hold eyepieces and containers. Inside on door is original microscope documentation and pamphlets. It is missing a clip that holds slide in place. There is some corrosion on the shinny brass in several parts, this is surface damage that affects color of brass. All the metal is solid, lenses move freely and focus mechanisms work correctly. These have been used and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage. They would be nice for lab use, collector or good for decoration in your den or lab. Vintage Bausch& Lomb Antique Brass Microscope Circa 1899 The pictures do not do justice to the way this instrument gleams! All the movements move freely with no binding or sticky spots. The Irises on the condenser move freely as well. The bottom iris looks like it is missing a couple of the leaves, there is what appears to be one of them that was in the drawer of the case. It is shown in one of the pictures. The Case is in good shape. But it is showing it's age, the cabinet does lock and includes a key. I have added a shipping charge to this due to the extra care that is needed to package this securely to ensure it will arrive safely also to cover the extra charges due to it's weight.

Description vintage gillett& sibert dual lit micrometer microscope. This is an unusual microscope having a micrometer to measure the rise and fall of the plate. Eyepieces x10. Swift London objectives x10. Dual lit having both under and over plate lighting. Mains 240v power supply(plug etc not shown in photos) It is in very good clean condition. It has a plaque on the front recording its donation to the printing& kindred trades federation in memory of George Lovesee their secretary from 1947 to his death in 1962. It would have been new at that time hence it must date from 1962. International postage is an estimate. It may well be less so please check with me for a price. Vintage Antique Brass Leitz Microscope circa 1894 - Leica "cousin"
This offering is a rather simple brass microscope. From Ernst Leitz, Wetzlar(Germany) the same firm which made the classic Leica Cameras(although this was made long before any Leica Cameras were made) Leica is short for LEItz CAmera) It is rather handsome, simplistically functional, and in my opinion is very attractive on a shelf. Most of the original lacquer is still present. And adds to the attractiveness. It is engraved: E. Leitz Wetzlar- New-York No 30069. Which identifies it as mfg. about 1894, per Bracegirdle's book: Notes on Modern Microscope Manufacturers" The New York address was a sales agency- Leitz microscope manufacture was in Wetzlar. From the beginning(1849) still is. Interestingly, the present new microscopes are now called"Leica" though"Leica" was originally, and for many years, the name of the ... morevery fine and very popular camera made by Leitz, Wetzlar, in Wetzlar. The precision column top knob fine focus. And sliding tube coarse focus still function very well, and the eyepiece and objective do function also. I would not expect this to serve well enough to win you a Nobel Prize, however, while it is not really a very useful microscope, it does work- To demonstrate that, I just put a piece of multi-colored cloth on the stage, illuminated it from above with my pocket LED penlight, and took the picture shown(last above) of black thread crossing colored threads under rather high magnification- just holding my Nikon Coolpix up to the eyepiece, as steadily as I can. I think of this as more something quite attractive. Historic, and interesting to look at, rather than to really use- it is as shown- no case, no extra parts, no sub stage, just a very basic stand- I have kept it on a shelf for years, where it looks quite attractive, and evokes interest. Height measures from 10 to 13 inches, depending on the tube expansion, base is about 3" by 3 1/2" and stage is about 2" by 3" Wt. is est. at 2 lbs. Vintage Brass and Iron Microscope. Both lenses are marked E. Leitz Wetzlar. The eyepiece can be raised and lowered easily and the 2 lower opticals rotate easily. The entire mechanism can pivot 90 degrees so the barrel is horizontal. The lower double mirror is in fine shape- no cracks. The finish on the metal has some nicks and scratches etc. as shown in the photos. Eyepiece lens marked"GRAF APSCO CHICAGO. USA 10X" Lower lenses are marked 5 and 7. All appears to be in good functional use to my untrained eye, but it would need a proper cleaning to remove the dust specks from the lenses. Even as a display piece it is simply stunning. Very nice Bausch& Lomb 1913 jug handle microscope- Serial number 95761. Everything appears to be in very good conditions- the mirror is clear on both sides- see photos. The brass shine on this microscope. Which gives it a great look. The nose piece is all brass and the B&L objectives appear to be in good conditions. There are two brass objective containers marked 16mm and 1.9 mm It also comes with a 6X and a 10X eye piece- the 10X eye piece has a chip on the outside edge. The condenser is clear and the iris works well. Both the course and fine focus work well. International buyers pay international shipping fees. The microscope also comes with a nice case- no key. Unusual Brass and iron vintage microscope
I am not an expert on microscopes so bear with me. I looked up listings on ebay and found nothing to compare to this one. This microscope has a brass number graduated rod with a knob that rotates on a gear to bring the lower lens closer to the main body. This lower lens has a numbered dial and a electric light with an very old electric cord and in-line switch. The base is cast iron as well as any other black part of the scope. There is no marksthat I could find on this piece so I need help there. Very low starting bid.It is in very good shape with no defects that I could find. It measures 201/2 inches from the top lens to the end of the brass rod and is 15 inches tall at its tallest point. Check out my!

Vintage Unopened Microscope Bottle Of Immersion Cedar Oil 1930s Bausch & Lomb
Vintage unopened small bottle of Cedar Oil by Bausch& Lomb. Of Rochester, NY, dating from circa mid 1930s. The bottle is 2 ¼ inch tall, with a diameter of approx 7/8 of an inch, a size that makes it suitable for storage in the usual rack for objectives found in vintage microscope cases. It is wrapped in a brown see-through paper. The label says"cedar oil immersion objective" fill the dispensing bottle about a quarter to half full of cedar oil. If the bottle is more than half full. Vintage Early Leitz Wetzlar Laborlux Binocular Biological Microscope With Case
I'm having to put this scope back up for auction due to a miss-listing. This time I think I have it right. Up for auction is a vintage early Leitz Wetzlar Laborlux Binocular Biological Microscope with a'FS' style head. This is still considered one of the best bench scopes ever produced and compare directly to the Wild M20& Zeiss GFL models. I don't have a transformer to plug the chord into so don't know if the lamp will work for sure. Those are easy to find on here. Substage condenser on this scope is a'Bereck' two diaphram model which is the best obtainable for all general observations up to an NA = 1.00 without the oil immersion cap. It does come with it's wooden case though it has some corner wear and the lock device had to be removed. It comes with Leitz Wetzlar lenses 170/ 3.5/0.10. 170/0.17 45:1 A ... more0.65, 170/0.17 25/0.50, 170/ 10/0.25 I also found a extra 1/12 Oel A 1.30 100:1 lens in the case. Lenses all look good. Wonderful antique Bausch& Lomb double pillar microscope- possible circa 1880s. Everything works and the microscope is fully functional. The scope stands ~15.5 inches tall with the tube fully extended. The fine focus is on the bottom of the stage. The mirror has some silvering- see photos and the black lacquer on the base is worn in places. There is one B&L objective marked 1/2. The brass. However shines and looks great. I've been told this is probably from the 1980's. Maybe even the 1970's. It is a Gemology Stereoscopic Microscope, with Dark field illumination, It had been stored for at least the last 25 years, unused, in the case, by a woman who received it after her father, a gemologist, passed away. I purchased it from HER estate sale. Along with a field gem testing kit that I have already sold. I am NOT an expert on microscopes. I don't know the fancy terminology. And the following information has been gathered from 3 experts that only saw the scope via these same pictures. I can assure you of this.THIS IS DEFINITELY A HIGH QUALITY MICROSCOPE! Here you go. it's old and brass with a chrome draw tube and single objective lens. I can't find a maker's name on the body but the eyepiece has Carl Zeiss Jena on it. The nearest thing I've found is a Bausch and Lomb Harvard model microscope. You however are the expert here. Dates on the body are as follows: Pat. Oct. 3. 1876" and"Pat. Vintage Bausch and Lomb Optical Co. Labratory Microscope
Vintage Bausch& Lomb laboratory microscope with. The microscope is marked 236357. The microscope appears to be in good condition but I'm not sure how to use it so it is being sold as is. All parts seem to move correctly. When looking through the top lens I did see a crack in the glass. I'm not sure which glass is cracked. So please note that there is a crack when you look through the top. Other than that it appears to be pretty good cosmetically but does show some signs of age and wear and needs cleaned. Please view the pictures for details. The microscope comes with multiple lenses including a 19mm 91x oil immersion lens. A 16mm 10x divisible lens and a 4mm lens. This piece is very heavy. When the top scope is as far down as possible the entire microscope measures approximately 13 inches tall. The base of the microscope is 4 ... more1/2 inches wide by 7-3/4 inches long. Antique Vintage Bausch & Lomb Jug Handle Microscope with some Nickle Plating
Antique Bausch& Lomb jug handle microscope with very nice Spencer mechanical stage. Serial number looks to be 66590. Which makes its age around 1907. This is a unique microscope because the fine and course focus nobs are nickle plated. The rest of the microscope is brass except for the base. The mirror has some minor silvering and the black lacquer shows some wear. The Spencer stage works well, the sub stage condenser is clear, and the sub stage iris works well. The three objectives are B&L and the scope comes with a 10X eye piece. This is a great fully functional jug handle microscope and will make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Estate ~ Vintage American Optical Spencer Microscope in Wood Box + EXTRA ITEMS
Spencer microscope in the original old wooden case complete with the key that locks the door! The case has the initials AO on the door that I know is American Optical. The microscope itself has the name Spencer on it with the#250048. To give you an idea of size. The case measures 15" tall x 9" wide x 8-3/4" deep. The microscope base measures approx. 8-1/2" x 5" in size with a height of approx. 13" in the cranked down position. There are a couple extras that come with this piece, the 3 boxes of slides, some sort of light called Scope light Substage lamp that looks like it was never used. There are also 2 small amber plastic bottles inside the door of the case that are not pictured. It is best that you view the photos to see exactly what I have here ~ sorry I'm not a microscope expert! Condition: The microscope ... morelooks pretty good I do not see any broken glass in the lenses or cracks to the microscope. The body appears to be brass with a blackened finish that has tiny edge wear exposing the brass. Not obvious until you look very close but I want to point it out. The scope light is in original box with very little to no use. The wooden case is covered in a sharkskin like material that is worn, the handle at the top is there but tattered.
