Vintage Spencer microscope 6x eyepieces -- lot of 27
For your consideration: a lot of 27 microscope eyepieces. I refer to the brand as Spencer based on other eyepieces I have seen on ebay. But I am not certain. If you are looking at microscope eyepieces you are no doubt way more knowledgeable than I am. And I would be delighted to be corrected. I am not an expert. They seem to be in very good shape. I cannot judge the optics but they are pretty clean; most were individually wrapped in paper towels when I got them. The group of three(2nd and 3rd photos) are typical of the lot. The group of four(5th and 6th photos) are very scratched as you can see. The little guy himself in photo 7 looks the same as the rest except his number 6x is not underlined. And then there are those the rings of unknown use and some small screws. Think of what you could you do with 27 of these eyepieces! So there they ... moreare. The good, bad, and ugly. Sold as is. Berlin- this is in good condition and dates to the late 19th or early 20th century I believe(serial number 42677) The brass and paintwork is in good order(please check out the photos) all mechanical and optical features appear to be working correctly. The instrument has a triple lens turret and comes with three lens- lens 1. stamped'7 = 60x' but no maker's mark, lens 2. stamped'3 = 10x' but again no maker's(I think this is equivalent to 16mm) and lens 3. stamped'HI 90 1.25' and'1/12" maker's mark'Carl Zeiss Jena' I think this is equivalent to 2mm) The instrument has a fully rotating stage. Antique Vintage Large Bausch & Lomb Microscope 1936 Old
Old Vintage Bausch& Lomb Microscope Good day; for your consideration is this large vintage(1936) Bausch and Lomb microscope. Which was previously owned by the Iowa State University. The scope is in very good working condition. All knobs turn smoothly and it focuses very well on the fine tune knob(note the graduations in the ph otos below) O f course it would not hurt to give the eyepiece and the three Bausch& Lomb objective lenses a good cleaning. It has as you would expect wear and identification marks. Some scratches and a little tarnish but other than that it looks very nice. The Bausch& Lomb Bakelite light source with a changeable filter lens(I would guess a more recent update) is working now but I can't 100% guarantee that the vintage bulb will su rvive the trip in the mail- these old bulbs are fragile. Jason 1200x model 707 microscope with dissecting kit Microscope: comes with 10x 15x 20x eye pieces. Light can be ran on two AA batteries or transformer, 3 turrets rotate for close viewing, focus wheel, light below slide mount rotates with mirror on other side, slide clamps. Microscope condition: optics need a good cleaning as you can focus on the object being viewed but there are specs in the field of vision that will rotate if you rotate the eyepiece. Light works if you place the batteries as shown in photos, I got the transformer to work once, but not for the pictures so you should consider the transformer as possibly not working, focus wheel operates smoothly, turret rotates nicely, screw mount to hold microscope in wood box has a chip out of it(please be careful and gently unscrew this all the way before removing from the box) Slides: ... morecomes with four prepared slides of Urea and some minerals. other slides are blank and there is a little box with a few covers for slides. chemical droppers are empty and show as expired in 1995. Solidly made with sturdy cast aluminium construction. A set of three antique/ vintage arranged microscope slides. The slide shown on the left-hand side of the listing photograph appears to be made of some sort of light wood. With a green covering. Overall in very good condition, although there is a very slight curvature to the wood. Contains spines arranged in a star pattern. The middle slide was created by the renowned diatom arranger. K.D. Kemp, and dated 20/ 10/ 93. And titled"Exhibition Bird. Also indicates"Styrax" and"Diatomacea. The slide contains a remarkably tiny arrangement of what appear to be diatoms in the shape of a bird with its wings spread. Unfortunately I do not have the facilities to take a good, clear image, but tried to capture it in the listing photo. The bird is a bit challenging to locate at first.
