Horsepower ratings have been made suspect by retail compressor dealers over the years. Because of these scewed horsepower ratings, the only way you can find your motors TRUE power is by the Amp rating. The Amp rating does not lie. Bare in mind, Pressure switches do not care what voltage you have. Pressure switches will run from 12 volts through 600 Volts. Amps are the most important. If you ARE using a magnetic starter, any standard pressure switch will work fine with your application.
