They only come in fixed configuration. No focusing lenses with this series. Was made for use with the color camera systems but immediately desired as visual eyepieces as well. Use with the planapochromats even better than with the KPL eyepieces. I just have this one only but they continue to appear with the MC63 Zeiss camera systems as photo eyepieces. This is an older Carl Zeiss Aus Jena(Pre WWII) Filar Micrometer Measuring Eyepiece Ocular in excellent condition. Has a movable X with double vertical lines for precise measuring. The magnification is 15x allowing for more exact measuring as well. The internal scale is 8mm with the drum broken down to 1mm into 100 divisions. Movement is smooth and exact with no backlash. The eyepiece fits 25mm outside diameter tubes and 23mm inside diameter tubes. It clamps in place in axis desired. Optically it is clean and clear. Professionally checked. Cosmetically shows some minor rub on the end of the chrome plated brass drum but functionally inconsequential. Looks more to do with a removed ID than user wear. The 15x eyepiece threads in and out perfectly for a sharp X and measuring lines. Images are not affected by these blemishes and one cannot tell that they are there when viewing through the eyepiece. The eyepiece has a cross hair reticle with a 10mm scale accross it devided into 50 parts. There is a small amount of dust on the reticle. The eyepiece has a 3mm centering tab on the side.
