In the last photo you can see a name plate identifying Danville(Illinois) High School as the former property owner on this Cenco#60910-11 microscope. It measures 4.5" w. x 8" d. x approximately 28.75" h. with this 40 watt classic filament design bulb. This lamp is cool with or without a shade. There are a few scuffs on the peacock blue enamel finish. But the focusing knob still adjusts the cylinder up and down(thus the reason for the approximate height of the lamp) This microscope-cum-lamp will fit in a USPS Large Priority Box with the lamp stem pulled out of the base. We have wired it for 110 outlets and are including a new 40 watt classic filament design bulb. The base of the lamp has a few scuffs/scratches on its peacock blue enamel paint finish(proof of high school use! And the clips that held down the glass slide are long gone. There is a metal plate attached to the microscope that identified the property owner, but the name has been scratched through. The height of the lamp is adjustable as the focusing knobs still work. At the tallest height with this bulb it is approximately 26.75" h. Base is 4.5" w. x 8" d. and weighs 6 lbs. 2 oz. Cord is 36" long. This is a perfect gift for your favorite science ... morenerd.
