LARGE Antique Glass Street Globe - GE Novalux - Industrial Light - Vintage Lamp
Available here is an antique street globe made by General Electric. This comes in four different pieces. The fitter looks to be made of heavy cast metal. Not sure what kind. It has a beautiful ornate design on it. The original GE tag is still attached and is labeled"Novalux" All three screws are still in holding the shade in. In the picture with the tag, you can also see the GE logo in the glass. The opening at the base measures 3-5/8" That is from inside to inside. The large shade is two pieces. The glass has a very nice textured design. There is a bottom and top part. Each with a different design. I am not sure how they are attached, but they are not loose. I have been told that the finial screws in at the top and secures the two pieces together. There are three holes in the top piece that looks like screws are supposed to ... morego in, although I am not sure. The glass looks to be in good condition. I can find no chips or cracks. The finial is on top. This measures approximately 30" from bottom of the fixture to tip of the finial. The shade is approximately 13" across in the largest section and 9" around the fitter lip. It appears that the original industrial/commercial socket is in the fixture. Although I have not taken it apart. It should probably be rewired. This will be disassembled for shipping. Plenty of bubble wrap will be used for each piece. This is very heavy. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I do accept offers and will consider any given.

This is a fine old original Brass Ceiling Light and original Acid Etched Floral and Fluted Shade. Taken out of the house, circa 1900-1920s. The shade is great with fantastic detail on the deep acid etched Floral pattern and fancy fluted top. This is a perfect little light for a closet hall or any small area needing light, will even work in a bedroom. Has been rewired and is ready to hang. Brass ceiling light measures 4&15/16 inches wide, 5 inches tall and is 8&1/2 inches tall with the shade installed. This is a vintage boxed Pennant Christmas lighting outfit. There are seven GE lamps that WORK and two extra lamps. I have not tested the two extra lamps) On one end of the box it says No. 1100K. On the other end. There is still an old Montgomery Wards price sticker. I cannot read the old price. The box was designed to be a store display. The top of the box is diecut and probably meant to stand up. There is still a tag on the electrical cord that reads- Paramount Decorative Lighting Outfit, No. 107, 110-120V and the UL logo. Please note from the photos that the box top has a tear. Possibly could be repaired by someone who knows how.

Additionally, it might be better to install a 100-watt standard light socket in the top for future convenience(easy 15 minute job) Base has marble accent and above that a row of faces cast into the metal. Lamp is 62” tall to the top of the globe. This would be a great piece to have a custom circular neon light made for. And then a custom globe blown for the top light.
