It has the normal few scuffs and scratches. But I didn't see any major damage. This includes(2) control cabinets and the actual electron microscope part. The first cabinet includes many rack-mounted pieces. There is a TVS Monitor and the CSI unit(has a holder for polaroid film) on the top. I couldn't really find any info on the bottom pieces in the cabinet. There looks to be a high voltage power supply in the bottom of the cabinet. You are bidding on a Bicron Surveyor 2000 with Side Wall GM(SWGM) probe. This sale includes the instrument. The SWGM probe, the MHV cable, and a 9V battery. I do not have a manual for the instrument. First, let me tell you about me. I was an engineer who worked at Bicron and DESIGNED this instrument. I can tell you that this instrument is in PERFECT, PRISTINE condition. The outer case and chrome are in excellent shape, with only a couple of minor scratches on the case bottom. The meter face has a couple of minor scratches which you can barely see. As you can tell from the photos, the instrument electronics function PERFECTLY. I have a couple of check sources and was able to test both the internal energy-compensated GM tube and the SWGM. Both work PERFECTLY. This instrument will also calibrate, and in fact will probably be close to calibration ... moreright now, from what I can tell. You even get a brand new 9V battery in the deal!
