This French lamp is absolutely beautiful. It features a lovely hand painted romantic outdoor scene on porcelain. Of a young man and woman which is signed by the artist Bouche. The scene goes all the way around the entire body of the lamp. It is expertly painted with all the paint in tact, and no fading. The artist portrays lovers under a tree looking out at blue water with a tower and stone wall on the other side. The porcelain portion of the lamp sits on a beautiful brass base with no rust or stains. There is a deep cobalt porcelain pedestal and top which is decorated with a gold hand painted design. It is a true visual delight. There is a double light bulb socket which enables you to use 2 separate bulbs, each with its own pull chain. The original finial is also included. It stands 24 and a 1/2 in tall from the base to the top of the the ... morefinial. The vase alone is about 14 in tall, and the brass bass is 4 and 3/4 in square. At the widest point, it measures 16 in all the way around, and the weight is approximately 8 pounds.
