I own one and use one myself on my contax G2 and they are truely outstanding. The glass on this one is perfect with no scratches, marks or anything like that. The barrel and cosmetics are very close to perfect(let's say 9.5 out of 10) I tested this lens myself with film and it works great. These lenses can be used on the Contax G1 and G2. Th is lens comes in a plastic jar. I can un screw it nicely. Carl Zeiss Germany is on the lens cap as well as the lens itself. Obviously old. The lab el on the jar is old and smudged somewhat. I wish there was a date on it. But there is not. Selling"as is" The housing is really nice on this. Don't know the condition of the lens itself, only what I can visibly d escribe in the condition section. This is a Carl Zeiss Jena lens for the Minolta MD 35mm SLR cameras. It is a 35-135 F3.5 to F4.5 zoom lens. This lens is clean and the glass shows no signs of fungus. The zoom is a little stiff between 35mm and 70mm and the action smooths out from 70 to 135mm. This lens also has a macro function at the 35mm end of the range. This can be adjusted with the Macro ring which sits between the aperture and focus/zoom ring. This lens is in good condition and fully functional. Please have a look at the photos before you bid.
