I am selling a vintage Rochester 9" stem thermometer from American Standard in the original box. Box reads Rochester Instrument Plant-Rochester. New York.Model#1598-16 range 0500F, stem length 9" The side of the box reads"This thermometer is equipped with Rochester external zoning device.Should the instrument through unusual handling be knocked out of calibration merely submerge 2" to 3" of the stem in agitated liquid of known temperature for 2 minutes. Then rotate dial by turning slotted screw in back of case until pointed is on exact tempurature then recheck. This was my parents and I think it is in good working condition. Fluke 332B DC Voltage Standard / Calibrator - Parts Or Repair
We used this 332B for several years as a DC reference voltage generator. One day it popped and stopped working. The cause of the problem has not been investigated. We do not have the time to check it out and see if it is a simple fix or more involved. The red LEDs still work and toggle when the range switch is rotated. When it was functioning.
