Bausch& Lomb StereoZoom 7 microscope. This microscope is usable. However, it needs alignment. If you look with only one eye, and then then other eye, you will notice that the image is in a slightly different position. So I am selling it"as is" for parts or repair. The optics seem okay, except for the misalignment. I had used the microscope several times before I became aware of the misalignment. Includes the 2 B&L 10x wide field eyepieces. The 1.0x to 7.0x variable power pod, stand, and a flat steel plate. There is no light. The plate does not appear to be part of the original microscope. The plate just rests on the base and is not attached. It could be mounted if someone drilled holes through it.

This is a Bausch& Lomb microscope with 10x& 43x and a light that is working(see pictures) I do not know much about microscopes but they all appear to be in working order. Objectives are marked 3.5x. 10x. 43x, and 97x. this microscope is metal with a black finidsh. Comes in the original black case, which has the"B&L" logo on the top. The case and microscope are in nice cosmetic shape with some overall wear such as scuffs and scratches due to normal use. Microscope has been plugged in, and the light is working. Microscope optics appear to be functional, with some dust specs inside. Being unfamiliar with the features of this particular model, it has not been tested extensively and may have issues we are unaware of, so please bid accordingly. Antique 1915 Bausch & Lomb Microscope & Cedar Fitted Box w/working Key
Antique Brass and Japanned Iron Microscope made by the Bausch and Lomb Optical Company in Rochester. New York, U.S.A. It is stamped on the top black plate: Pat. Jan. 5, 1915. The Microscope has a 6.4 magnification lens or eyepiece, two knobs for raising or lowering the lens, an adjustable iris, and a double-sided reflector mirror. Note that there is a very small chip on the edge of one side of the reflector mirror and two tiny brown stains on the other side. Also, included are 3 Bausch& Lomb objective lenses: Two lenses are marked patented on Oct 13, 1925: 1) 16mm 0.025 10X” and, 2) 4mm 0.65 43X” the third one is marked“4mm 0.65 N.A. Also included are 10 assorted glass slides of which a few are chipped. The Microscope stands a little over 11 inches high when the lens is in its fully extended position and it rotates on its base to adjust ... morethe viewing angle. The Microscope is clean. Free of rust or corrosion, but does have some of the black paint worn away along the back of the stand. The brass has developed a warm golden patina. Both of the adjustable side-clips that hold the glass slides in place on its stage are attached. The Microscope appears to be in very good working condition. A fine cedar wood fitted box is also included in the sale. It was manufactured by the Eagle Lock Company. Terryville, Connecticut. The lock is stamped thus, including USA. The lock& its working key are in excellent condition. To open the box. Undo the latches, turn the key, and push the small round button to the side. Two Art Nouveau design latches secure the sides. Inside the box are compartments for 5 objective lenses, plus one for the eyepiece, as well as the footprint for the microscope itself. Many of the interior surfaces are lined with brown felt and a blue sponge cushion is on the interior lid to protect the eyepiece. On the right side of the outside of the box is a black iron handle. The box is put together with brass screws and the sides are joined via tongue and groove. It is in excellent condition. Total Weight is

It came from an estate of an officer during WWII with numerous other items of his I have been selling. The only marks I can find are the Bausch& lomb Opt Co USA stamping. See pics. WWI Leather Trench Periscope or Telescope Stereoscope Case. This case was apparently carried by mule or horse in WWI. It was manufactured by Bausch& Lomb around 1917. The British referred to this item as a Telescope Stereoscope. Case is in good. Clean condition but is missing the two outside leather straps. The inside is empty of any contents. It measures 18" high. Without the large leather top strap x 5 1/4" wide and 8 3/4" wide x 9" long. The top is embossed with the name. B.T. B. Co. with the initials J.G.K. Great piece of history! BAUSCH & LOMB STEREO ZOOM 7 MICROSCOPE & American Optical model 365 light source
This was my college microscope last used approximately 21 years ago. It has been in storage in my attic since then. The Microscope works but could use a good cleaning. The American Optical light source still works as well as can be seen in the pictures. There is no mount for the light on the transformer base- the light source fits directly onto the microscope. I'm also including the accessories that you see in the pictures: the Sepor sorter and approximately 100 aluminum slide trays. If you are curious. I used this microscope to pick benthic foraminifera out of core samples which I then transferred to slides. This sale is as is. This is an extremely rare offering; this case used to hold a“Harvard” microscope. Now at the National Museum of Health and Medicine. The box measures 10 ¾, by 6 ½, by 4 ½ inch; it has a brass handle and it retains its original lock and key. The inside has a rack with openings to hold four objective canisters. It is an ideal carrying case for holding not only the B&L model, but also late 1800s stands made by Zeiss, Nachet, Hartnack, or the many small, unsigned, microscopes that were made in profusion around the end of the 19 th Century. These vintage WWII/WW2 Bausch& Lomb aviator sunglasses are in great condition with just minor wear(a small crack on the right nose piece is about it) The green lenses are crystal clear with no cracks or scratches. The cross bar above the nose piece has some light tarnishing. So the glasses can use a light cleaning(the cross bar is marked: BAUSCH& LOMB) The frames are tight and both ear pieces are held securely with two small screws. The original aluminum case is in very good condition, but it does have some scratches and shallow dings(it can use a light cleaning as well) The lining inside the 2 3/4" wide x 6" long x 1" thick case is intact, but it is worn and discolored. It is a horizontally mounted Greenough type stereo microscope mounted on a large and elegant pillar stand. There is a rack& pinion drive at the top of the pillar with which the height of the instrument may be altered through a range of about 40mm. The carrier post is triangular in cross-section. On top of the triangular pillar is a rotating joint that carries another rack& pinion drive for focusing the microscope. The rotation is clamped using a small knurled screw tucked away underneath the larger focusing drive knobs. The microscope itself is relatively compact. But carries a revolving nosepiece on which two objectives may be mounted. Both objectives are numbered to match ... morethe serial number of the microscope, so they were probably matched to the instrument at the factory. A pair of wide field 10x oculars is included that appear to be original. The alignment of the objectives is very good, however one of the objective pairs does exhibit some delamination in one of the elements. It will still image, however. I did not see the magnification engraved on the objective pairs. Cosmetically. The instrument is in spectacular condition– the chrome plated knurled knobs are pristine and completely free of dirt or grime! There are a very few small chips in the black lacquer of the pillar base. The only other thing I noted was the rotating bearing for the microscope body appears to have been bored slightly off-axis, so the microscope does tilt ever so slightly to the side. This is definitely a factory‘error’ as there is no wear or any sign of damage anywhere on the instrument. I am uncertain as to the function of the instrument. But it may have been part of an optometry station, perhaps for use with a slit lamp illuminator. This is a very nice Bausch& Lomb Stereo Zoom 4 Microscope from an estate in Green Valley. AZ. The previous owner was a machinist and probably used this for parts inspection. The phenolic base measures 12" x 15 3/4" x 5/8" The stereoscope head is mounted on an excellent stand that features nearly full articulation and a quick release lever that allows the scope to be lowered or raised without the use of the knobs. The light source is a fluorescent circline bulb that plugs into its power supply(Aristo) This bulb arrangement is removeable by unscrewing a retaining ring. The tester is metal; it appears that the new testers as soon on eBay are plastic. But I cannot be positive about this. I got this when I was working on a large printing project. We used the testers to examine the quality of illustrations as the printers were adjusdting the presses. It was onlly used a few times. And gently at that. It is in very good used condition. I am completely out of my element on this and will describe it as best I can. This is a magnifier made by the Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. It is in as found condition and I have not attempted to clean it. Starting from the base. There is a round, raised but attached mark that shows age wear. Around the outer edge of this reads, BAUSCH& LOMB OPTICAL CO. Rochester NY. There is then a circle with a triagular shaped mark with three lines inside. At the top is B& L, to the left is the letter Z, to the right a letter S which I believe to stand for Carl Zeiss and G N Saegmuller. Above the triangle the numbers 99876. The post holds wheels which raise and lower the magnifier shown at top that swivels at two separate places. The actual magnifier is marked around it with BAUSCH& LOMB OPTICAL CO. 17mm TRIPLE APLANAT. This magnifier raises ... moreand lowers over a piece of glass which then looks down onto a round two sided mirror that tilts, and is on an arm that moves from side to side. The only question I have is that there is a small"post" at the rear of the glass. There is a hole on the opposite side that I have no idea what is may have been used for. Everything works properly and the glass only shows very minor signs of wear. The measurements on this are 4 1/2" to glass. 5 1/2" to magnifier in lowered position, 4" across base and 5 3/4" front to back.
