Approximately 11 in. tall when turned all the way down. 4-1/4 in. wide, and 5-3/4 in. deep. Very Good condition, light wear, see also pictures. There are no breaks, chips, or cracks. Wooden case has some wear, and a crack in back. This microscope is marked Bausch + Lomb on the base. The serial number is 22885. It has a mirror for lighting. And the part that swings out(below the object stage) also has a light blue glass piece that one can move in or out of the path of light. It has a revolving turret for 3 lenses and comes with four different B+L objective lenses, each one in its matching brass container. They are marked: 1/12, 1/6, 2/3, ... moreand 8mm. There also are 3 eyepiece lenses, one marked B+L 12.5, the other faintly on the side B+L 1 in. the other has marks but they are too faint to make out, perhaps B+L 2 in. Also there is a copper? metal container with an old glass bottle for immersion oil inside. The wooden case comes with a key and the lock works. A small drawer is located at the top of the case. This was a working microscope back in the day and was used as you can tell. All the main parts seem to work fine, but it will need a good cleaning etc. What a great old piece! Wow! This listing is for a used Stereo Zoom 4 microscope. This scope is in excellent working condition. It was disassembled. All optics cleaned and adjusted to be clear and par-focused. All moving parts were cleaned and lubed. It is on an aluminum base with a zoom arm. There are two 15 x wide focus eyepieces and a new(old stock) 0.5 x objective lens which doubles the working distance. There is also a brand new 144 led light assembly. I am an electronic eng.tech. and use these in my work, so this is set up to do surface mounted devices and other close-up electronic repair. The working distance is 6" and is quite ample for soldering under the scope, as seen in picture of iPhone 4s motherboard on repair stand.

This is the real deal that Ralph Lauren would use all day long to stock his display cases. This is not marked B& L, but I have been collecting these for years and some were marked and some were not. The glass is super clean with no fungus, nicks or scratches and just the most minor signs of wear, and the lens is supplied with front and rear UV filters(which account for the both lens surfaces being so free from wear) I would give the glass a 9. The lens housing shows wear and the normal oxidation, but is free from any damage. All the speeds and settings are fully functional and operative, including the unique exposure counter window that counts off all trips of the shutter from 1-12! This particular microscope has the removable binocular body. The interpupilary distance adjustment is smooth but firm so that it will not slip when set. The position may be read on a 12mm ruling beside the left eyetube and as in all fine binocular stands the left eyetube is independently focusable to account for differences in the users eyes. The eyepieces included with this ... morestand are a matched pair of 10x wide field oculars that would benefit from a bit of cleaning. I expect they were left in to keep out errant dust more than anything else. Below the body tube is fitted a four position rotating nosepiece. No objectives are included with this microscope but the plaques on the nosepiece are currently marked for 16mm. 8mm, 4mm, and 3mm objectives. As with all Bausch& Lomb microscopes of this era you can adjust the lateral centering of the objectives by repositioning the plagues and replace the plaques to properly label the objective in position if so desired. The coarse adjustment is a finely machined rack and pinion without a hint of play. The fine adjustment is likewise smooth and without defect. The right knob of the fine adjustment is ruled with the standard divisions each representing.002mm of vertical movement. On the right side of the arm and on the right side of the fine adjustment carriage is a marking so that one may see when the fine adjustment is in the middle of its range. The substage is a fully adjustable. Fully centering apparatus. It has a threaded sled onto which various condensers may be screwed before being slid into position.

Bausch& Lomb Rapid Portrait Series 3a 8x10 Lens This lens is in terrific condition. Especially for its age. It is a classic petzval design with a cemented doublet in front and air spaced rear group. There is some edge separation in the front as pictured, though this is quite common for older brass lenses of this vintage. No signs of haze or fungus present and very sparse tiny cleaning marks that are insignificant. Overall very clean and clear. The brass is in excellent shape and has been well cared for. There is a slot for waterhouse stops but I do not have any original ones for it. There is a flange included as pictured! The lens is physically large. Measuring about 9" long with a 4.5" diameter. Front glass has a 4" diameter. It weighs 6lbs 13oz and will need quite a sturdy camera to support it. These lenses are getting ... morevery uncommon to find, especially in this condition.

As well as medical, scientific items Here is a 1950s 1960s Bosch& Lomb Optical Co. Eye Muscles medical office advertising piece made of molded plastic or some other possibly bakelite material.This counter display measures 13 3/4"high by 10"wide by 1" deep and is in excellent original condition.
