This is a quarter plate Minimum Palmos strut folding press camera. Manufactured by Carl Zeiss, C1904. It has a Tessar 150mm f4.5 lens in a helical focussing mount, a focal plane shutter and a folding optical viewfinder. It is complete with two single metal dark slides. The camera is in well used condition. The leather covering is worn at the edges and lifting in places. The shutter appears to be complete but is sticking. The perspex disc is missing from the shutter setting knob. The bellows have one or two old patches. Black paint on camera back is very rubbed, and there is some old overpainting on the front panel. The helical focussing works, the apertures work, the lens would benefit from cleaning. The dark slides are moderately rusty. This will make a good restoration project, or just for display on a shelf. There are initials on the camera of the original owner. There is also writing on the inside of the case. The winder for the shudder. The lock is on. There are no bubbles in the black part of the finish. I am not a camera guy, and am not sure if the camera is working or not, so I am selling it for parts or repair. This is a fantastic find of a premium Zeiss-Ikon camera. The camera and aux. lens are in nearly mint condition. The meter agrees with comparable readings taken with my Sekonic studio pro meter. The inside is even cleaner than the outside. The only minus is the shutter speeds of 1 sec. and 1/2 sec. which I never even used. All the lens are mint. The leather case is 9 plus. The 45mm lens is a Pantar f:2.8. The WA lens is a Pantar 30mm f:4, and the telephoto is a Pantar 75mm f:4. Both aux. lens have Ikon cases which have a few age cracks in the plastic covers. This is a very heavy 35 mm camera and lens, it's all metal with no plastics. The postage will be higher than all the newer(plastic) cameras.Because of the age of this equipment(65 years) it is offered AS IS and no returns.

That, the comparison prism being inserted, the image of the oject under investigation completely fills the slit. Comparison prism with lateral frame and clips to hold the object and the mirror.
