This was a garage sale find. It's a Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 8x30W binoculars. You can see through them OK but it is missing some cups off the eye piece and it's hard to try to focus. It needs work and repair or the binocular could be used for some spare parts to repair others. It comes in a leather case which also needs some repair on the strap. Fix this and you will have a wonderful set of binoculars or sell them and make a bunch of bucks. Since this does need repair or is a parts binocular it is sold as is and there is no return. Vintage Rollei Rolleiflex camera3.5 Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. I am listing a very exceptional Rollei item today which should make some knowledgeable collector VERY Happy. I have been collecting for a very long time and now am downsizing and having my granddaughter do the photographs and fulfill the orders. I spend a lot of time very carefully inspecting each and every item and use a magnifier to look at lenses to check for both cleaning marks as well as fungus or mildew. So. Lets start with serial number 1423859 MADE IN GERMANY, Rolleiflex with serial number 1191888Carl Zeiss 75mm f/3.5 Tessar lens. This camera was safely protected in a Rollei leather case which kept the camera in the excellent condition that it is. On a scale of 1 thru 10 this camera is easily a 9. The leather is about like it, came from the factory, the metal work is bright. ... moreI have looked carefully at the lens and see no cleaning marks. Looking inside with a magnifier, I see no signs of mildew. I have cocked the shutter and fired on low and high ranges and all sound reasonable accurate but no guarantee that 1 second is accurately dead on. High speeds sound good too. My granddaughter will open and photograph the inside the camera. I want you to look at the pressure plate. Cameras that have been used a lot show wear on the plate. Notice that this one looks like new. There are many similar cameras listed on EBAY but unless you find one new in the box and unopened you would have a very hard time finding one as good as this most exceptional camera. A few weeks ago I listed the accessories which I am convinced were never used and likely some still as new as when they were purchased about 50 years ago. NOTE: Notice that you are getting the original leather case which does show some wear as well as the original instruction book AND the original Rollei lens cap. There is some ink pen markings on the strap on the leather case. As for the cap, I could list a cap this nice by itself and get good money for it. If you miss this package over a few dollars and

Almost, nuts and bolts, the same camera as the 6x9 Ikonta C series by Zeiss Ikon Jena prior to World War II and continued by Zeiss Ikon/ Stuttgart from 1948 to 1958. That being said. Except for the design of the chrome top. The East German Erconas are structurally/ mechanically indistinguishable from the West German product. they are. Up for bid is a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B 35mm SLR. I have film tested this and the shutter speeds seem accurate. I did not try it with flash. The meter does not work. The Tessar 50mm f/2.8 lens is clean and scratch free. No haze or fungus. The aperture and shutter blades are clean. The Pro Tessar 35mm has a little haze but no separation. Cosmetically the camera looks very nice but is missing some blck paint from the Zeiss Ikon logo. A nice original Zeiss leather case is included. USPS PRIORITY MAIL ONLY! This model comes with Synchro Compur shutter and a Zeiss-Opton Tessare 1:3.5 coated lens. Mechanically the camera functions well. Focus is silky smooth. The shutter speeds from 1 to 1/500 and B all all appear to function correctly. Serial number is 545504. Lenses are clear and clean. Camera body shows some missing paint and metal wear on corners and some edges. Aperture and shutter blades are clean of any oil and function correctly. All film advance and shutter cocking functions have been tested with a roll of film and appear to work as they should. I am not an expert but ... moreall in all this camera is in very nice condition.
