Up for sale is a legendary and most sought after Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 2.8/20 MC 20mm f/2.8 wide angle lens. It's the widest lens in the M42 lens mount era and it was well known for it's superior optic. It's razor sharp. Germany style of contrast and high resistance to flare. Closest focus distance is only 19cm! Red MC indicated that it's an early model(the best material used) and was sold only within the Europe. I posted two photos that I took with this lens and I believe they could tell you a lot about it. I took the photos with Nex 6, slightly cropped and deepened the color and that was it. Mechanical: in PERFECT condition. Period. Focusing is silk smooth and precise, turning resistance is not completely equal throughout the range by it's design. Aperture ring moves with beautiful clicks on 1/2 of f-stop. No oil ... moreor any issues on the blades, just perfect. Optical: Perfect. Perfect coating, no scratches of any kind, no cleaning marks nor fungus, not even any obvious dust specs in between glasses. Like new condition. Cosmetic: Perfect. Only some black paint worn off on some tips of the focus ring due to normal usage. A scratch on the serial number, other than that, there are practically not much signs of use. The lens comes with both caps(though they're not tight fit any more after all these years) and original leather box. I will only ship USPS express(about $35) to international buyers.
