This camera. Being an early reflex 35mm, was pretty much"state of the art back in the 50s! No interchangable lenses but the lens it does have was the same optics as the Leicas of the period, Zeiss. It has a focal-plane shutter but it's on the back of the mirror. So, when the mirror flips up to take the exposure, you can't view until you wind it to reset the mirror. It's literally one of the first 35mm reflex cameras.

It was tested with film and functioned as it should. This camera came from a serious enthusiast who used his cameras. Lens is clean with no scratches. Fungus, etc. Shutter speeds were tested by ear and visually and appear accurate. The case shows some wear as pictured and while the leather and strap are in tact some of the stitching has gone the case is in 3 pieces but could be stitched back together. WW II German Zeiss BLC 7X50 binoculars uboatglas Kriegsmarine
WW II vintage German Navy binoculars. Cosmetically it has some issues as seen in the photos. Mechanically and optically they are in outstanding condition. Underneath the rubber lens cover on the right side appears a reference to 7X50 BLC and the number 61400. These binoculars are adjusted by using a screwdriver to adjust a large bolt. This keeps them water tight. I have added some technical data from a book on WW II binoculars. I do not know if my binoculars are Type 1. 2 or 3; but they are 100% correct and show honest sea duty. Beautiful Zeiss Ikon Contax I Rangefinder Camera With Lens With Extras
At auction is a Contax I rangefinder camera with a 5cm f/2.8 lens made by Zeiss Ikon of Germany between 1932 and 1936. This is a camera that uses 35mm film in standard cassettes to produce standard 24X36mm negatives. It is finished in a beautiful black enamel paint finish. The shutter is a focal-plane Metal shutter with speeds B. 1- 1000, and it works well at all speeds. The speeds sound about right to the ear. The metal shutter curtains(that move vertically) are free of holes and cracks. This camera has a built-in viewfinder for the 5cm but it also has a mask that can be pulled over the front viewfinder window to establish a frame line for an 8.5cm lens. The viewfinder is clean and clear with no fungus or haze. The camera has a rangefinder that is separate from the viewfinder that is also clean and clear with a focus spot that has good contrast ... moreand is well aligned. The uncoated 5cm(50mm) f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Tessar collapsible lens is clean and clear with no scratches fungus or haze. The aperture control ring works smoothly and easily. The diaphragm blades have some very minor traces of oil on them but it is barely noticeable and does not interfere with the aperture function at all. The focus control ring moves smoothly and easily and the focus control knob on the camera body also works smoothly and easily. The camera and the lens are both in mint- cosmetic condition with only the most minor signs of use. The glossy-finish. Black-painted metal body parts are near perfect. The black leather covering is fully intact with only three"Zeiss bumps" on the camera's back. It is almost impossible to find any early Zeiss cameras without the"Zeiss bumps" The nickel-plated metal parts are all in beautiful condition with the exception of the collapsing part of the lens barrel that shows some signs of use. There are no dents, dings, or brassing on the camera or lens. All camera and lens functions work perfectly. The camera will come with a front lens cap. But I do not know if it an original Zeiss item. Nur die 1 Sekunde ist langsam. manchmal muss man auch leicht anklopfen bis sie weiter geht.Aber man braucht die 1 Sek. kaum im Leben. b-Blende geht.Objektive keine Kratzer hinten und vorn auch nicht. c-Entfernungsmesser geht.Heute mal auf 2,2o m( meine Sofalänge) nachgemessen und die Unendlich-Stellung zeigt auch richtig an. d-Chrom sehr gut( siehe Fotos) für mich als Oldtimerliebhaber immer wichtig! hat keine Beulen. Keine Kratzer, nie runtergefallen. e-Sucher mit Einspiegelung ... morefür WW und Tele.Im Sucher einige schwarze Flecken. f-Filmaufzug geht. Quietscht auch nicht wie so manche Werra.
