The cap is in very good shape with no cracks. I call my magneto rebuilds"refurbished" magnetos. I check these magnetos over completely top to bottom. Everything comes out and everything goes back in only if it matches the specifications. New parts are used inside as needed to provide years of service. This magneto is fully repaired. But I do not go through and replace every replaceable item. That's good for you since that takes away sometimes up to 75% of the cost of a magneto repair. I have been doing this for some time, both for my personal engines and customer engines. I know these old ignition systems. If you are buying this to replace an old magneto. Contact me after or before you buy it with a picture of the old one and I can quote you a discount for sending me a good rebuildable core. 1989 Vermeer 1250 12" Wood Chipper New Parts!
Runs Great! 1989 Vermeer 1250 12" gas chipper with 4613 hours. Almost everything is new except the paint! I replaced the Ford 300 motor. Main drive belt, bearings, starter, water pump, ring gear, and radiator. My go-to chipper when the diesel ones are frozen up. This has been greased often. Oil changes twice per year, and maintained. It is ready to go to work for you!

Wood Chipper Olathe PTO Model 12 Very Good Condition Little Use
Olathe model 12 PTO chipper 3 point hitch mount in very good used condition. This was owned since new by a municipal health facility grounds department and was used very little. It's excellent appearance is evidenced by the pictures-all the sheet metal is straight and the paint finish is new. This unit is extremely heavy-duty when compared to the many"economy" PTO chippers on the market. Mechanically it works perfectly. I have for sale a 1998 Morbark 2400 18" wood chipper. It is powered by a John Deere 6068tf250 200hp turbo diesel engine. This is the desired engine to have on these chippers it runs good and strong. Features auto feed. Variable feed rate, hydraulic jack, and a manual chipper chute. Don't let the faded paint and hours fool you this thing will flat out get it! It has greasable axle bearings and like new hankook tires. Also has a new interstate battery. I added the variable feed rate valve and a block heater last year. With a steel cutting grid, cast aluminum base block, and red-painted wood handles with silver accent lines. This tinned steel potato chipper operates something like a scissors lift. Moving the handles together raised the cutting grid. Forcing them apart lowers the grid onto the potato to cut your French fries. The cutting grid is about 3" square, with a 6x6 grid, so you'll get up to 3 dozen 1/2" thick fries with each cut. Fully upright. The chipper is about 6-1/2" high to the top of the handles. 5-3/4" long, and 3-1/4" wide. Down, it's about 10" long, 3-1/4" wide and 2" high. This is a older model commercial wood chipper. I don't know if that makes it better or worse.All I can tell you is that it has the best running 330 HD ford truck engine I have heard. For those of you that don't know about Fords commercial engines back then. The 330 HD engine was more balanced with a steel crank.They had sodium filled valves and hard seats in the heads. If someone was fixing up an old ford pickup you would be hard pressed to find a better engine to put in it. The oil pressure gage shows about 80 pounds pressure.If you didn't want to use it for chipping limbes you could part it out. It is mounted on a heavy duty trailer. It is made by M& B- CO. Model 905. It is the drum type chipper. It has a 15 inch wide drum with 6 blades 15" x 3" x 3/8" thick. The drum has been cleaned and the blades have been ... moresharpened- very sharp.Done on my surface grinder. Also the anvil blade in the frame has been resurfaced to 45 degrees.It has been painted recently but I have put some scratches on it during my messing with it. The tachometer is missing. It was totally no good. The hour meter was showing 400 + hours when I bought it but that is probably not accurate. This machine must have been kept out of the weather most of its life because there is almost no sighs of rust. I cleaned the carburetor- put new points in the distributor- removed and went through the starter- new battery- The device on the rear of the machine that allows you to kill or restart the engine has been disabled. It has pretty good tires on the trailer. I don't know if the lights work or not. It is not registered.I have described this as best I know how. You are invited to come and see it run. I have a Vermeer 625 chipper unknown year. Will chip branches up to 6 inches. Has a 20 hp Honda motor. I have owned for just over one year and use on about 15 jobs and had absolutely 0 problems. I just upgraded and am looking to sell. The previous owner was an older gentleman and he did not use it heavily at all. It does have a little rust and wear and tear however runs and works good as it should. It starts with no problems however I use ether every once in awhile for a quicker start. We only refurbish Vermeer unit and even then we only rebuild BC1800 and BC1400 models as they are by far the best that Vermeer makes. And always in demand. Don't mistake this for one that has simply been painted and stickers applied. We take these units completely apart and do anything and everything to make them as close to new as you can get. Even balancing the drum/blade assembly which by itself is over a $2,000 cost. We manufacture new panels if there is any rust as we have our own complete machine shop. On the last one we refurbished, about 2 months ago, we made a completely new drum assembly in our shop and it balanced better than any factory unit coming right from the factory.
