Up for consideration is a vey nice Craftsman Chipper/Shedder with recently serviced. Cleaned and rebuild of carburetor. Starts every time and runs great. This machine will take limbs up to 3" diameter and has a large hopper for mulching leaves. This is a rope start, but cranks easily. Also has pneumatic tires, which makes for easy pulling or pushing. This is a local pick up only as shipping would be too expensive. Not sure of the age, although I am the original owner. I would guess 7 or 8 years old. Heavy sheet metal twice as thick as what I've seen on others, not ever counting the crap from china, This machine is a 6" round capacity chipper with a large 7" x 8" infeed opening. The unit has 1/2" x 4 inch long x 4" wide double edged chip blades and a 1/2" thick reversible. Sharpenable and replaceable bed knife. The bed knife is for consistent size chips, mthe bigger the chip the less power needed. Small chip setting though allows for clearing viney shrubby stuff better. The bed knife adjustment is easily done and you will see it obvious when looking at the machine. I have the extra long extension shute to get it to the back of your pick up truck. Some cheap Chinese ... moremodels only drop it on the ground below the machine so watch for that in price comparisions, My machine comes with the pto adjustable shaft. There is an automatic hydraulic feed that you can get for this machine but I never needed it especially after have a drum type"chuck and Duck" for the previous 20 years!
