Up for auction is an item I must confess I know very little about. I’m not a welder of any description! However, I plugged it in, set the device to HIGH, and took a picture of me pressing the two wires(electrodes? together on my vice and producing both a spark and heat generated in the wires. From this action I believe the welder does in fact work. I have no way of knowing just how old this equipment is but apart from some minor rust on the upper surface of the tinwork and some black tape around the electrode cable at the terminals, it is in good functioning condition.

This is a very intricate Sterling Silver souvenir spoon. The antique spoon has a cowboy on a horse at the top of the spoon. There are cutouts for the horse's legs. So they show up better. Under the cowboy is the face of an Native American with a feathered headress. Beneath him is a bow and arrow and a tomahawk. The shaft of the spoon has further designs. On the bowl of the spoon are the words WELDER BLDG VICTORIA, TEX. There is also an engraving of the building. The back is void of decor and has the word STERLING in raised letters. The spoon is about 3 1/2 inches long. It weighs 4.142 grams. This is a lovely piece of Americana in a souvenir spoon!

I used this on many diff projects welding and cutting a variety of different gauge metals WITH NO PROBLEM.It is by far one of the best 110 vlt units made! good condition shows sighs of use some minor scratches. Torch cable needs repair or replacement.Reason I have it listed for parts or repair is.After completing my last project I was not using it and wanted to keep it in like new condition.My thought was to store back in its orig box. AAAHHH that's were i made my mistake I failed to remove the torch cable prior to storing in the box. Hence in order for it to fit in the orig box with the torch still connected you have to Bend or pull the cord to one side.Well over time as I would occasionally need to do a quick weld I would take it in and out of the box. Well hopefully as you can see by the ... morepic in doing this the power connection at the end were it connects to the welder has come lose.I firmly believe it can be Crimped back on with the correct tool.I have still used it after this has happened by simply pushing it back on by hand.As long as you don't pull on it it seems to keep in place for the most part.But obviously needs to be repaired or replaced for trouble free use.I hope I explained this correctly and thoroughly.This is The NASCAR Edition AND IS A CLEAN WORKING WELDER that just needs the torch cable repaired or replaced.I just have not got around to doing either.
