This welder was on the first of two lines bought to weld shading pole coppers on small evaporator motors for refrigerators. They fired for probably only a couple second per cycle but have no idea how many cycles. In later years the majority of the units were ran on the remaining line as it is more versatile. This line was purchased around 1983 and we only have maintenance records from 1986. This unit was removed from production and has been stored since 2007. This line ran until the day it was decided two lines were not necessary for required production. I bought this welder thinking I would have time to use it in my garage. Nope. No time. I loaned it to a friend to do a couple of small jobs and he said it was the best portable welder he ever saw. The little machine is about as close to brand new as you are going to get without buying a new one. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. When I purchased this package I paid right at $2,300.00 taxes and all. My loss is your gain. Note that this is not the stripped down version, or lacking much of anything. This is for a Miller XMT304 CC Stick and TIG welder. This does not have CV and therefore no MIG capability on the panel. But with the Miller SP-32 with Voltage Sensing it can be put in stick mode and used with this wire feeder. This unit is a 2004 LE serial no. and was used at a Votech School. Its in good condition and the school hasn't used it since 2011 since they got money for new equipment. It comes with the grounding lead and a lead to connect the wire feeder. The wire feeder does not use the 14 pin amphenol connector but has a voltage sensing clamp that connects to the work piece for its power source. It doesn't come with anything else. I have a great working thermal arc tig welder that's awesome on aluminum and welds stainless and mild steel easily. Machine works perfect as it should and all controls work. TIG WELDER AND 115 VOLT SPOT WELDER
Up for auction is a set of welders. These welders are in very good working condition. The first is a tig welder. Complete with tungsten, gas regulator, and all hoses. The tig welder is an adapter to a wire feed welder which may be used with either a 115 volt or a 220 volt welder and may also be used with argon or mixed gas. The second welder is a 115 volt, C-Clamp spot welder. The project is nearing completion and am no longer in need of the welders. Preferred form of payment is Paypal.
