There are no cracks in the electrical cord. There is a silver plate on the handle and I am pretty sure this had the manufacturer and model of this soldering iron. I believe the manufacturer was Lenk based on pictures of other soldering irons that look very similar to this soldering iron. I would have no idea what the model number is. The dimensions of this soldering iron are approximately 10 1/2 inches in length(from the top of the handle to the cooper tip. The diameter of the handle is approximately 1/2 of an inch(measuring at the top of the handle) and the diameter of the rod of this soldering iron is approximately 1/2 of an inch.
