Hi. I have up for sale a 4 real nice steel vintage soldering iron. Back in the day they headed these old irons up in a forge and genially used them to melt solder. These irons are as found have not been cleaned in any way. They have a great patina use just for wall hangers or to actually to use. They all have the copper soldering tip and they are from 14 ½” and 12” long. Please check out all pictures for condition. You don’t see these come up for sale very often so don’t miss out. Distinctive, and even rare soldering iron is 100 to 200 years old. ~It is professionally hand-finished and hand tooled well. In a very old fashion. ~It was originally found in Pennsylvania over 40 years ago. The tool was old and not commonly found even back then! Even in PA. where wonderful antique tools abound. ~13-1/4 inch long tool uses alcohol for fuel and heat. ~Alcohol is stored inside the 3/4-inch wide brass tube. Tube is filled from opening on top of tube. Brass lid with attached wingnut tightens and seals it in. ~Black handle is turned. Nicely sculpted wood. ~Top has simple brass valve to regulate alcohol pressure. It can be adjusted by loosening and tightening red knob. VERY RARE BENNETT-MARVELL SOLDERING IRON
Very Rare Bennett-Marvell Self-Heating Soldering Iron– This gasoline-fuel. Self-heating soldering iron(SHSI) was manufactured by the Bennett-Marvell Manufacturing Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The soldering iron matches very closely US Patent No. 850,386 awarded to Roy W. Marvell in 1907 for a newly-designed SHSI. It would seem, then, that this tool dates to early in 1900 as the iron is marked“PAT. APPLD. FOR” The torch measures about 20 inches in length. The cone-shaped tank is about 8 inches in length and 2 inches in maximum diameter. Based on these measurements the tank has a fuel capacity of about one-fourth pint. The tank is made of nickel-plated brass. With the combination filler cap and pump assembly being un-plated brass. The large hex-shaped nut at the front of the tank and the control knob are also brass. The burner assembly ... moreand housing for the soldering tip is cast bronze. The soldering tip is, of course, copper and the feed tube and control arm are steel. The rear part of the tank is marked“BENNETT-MARVELL MF’G. CO. PHILA. PA. U. S. A. The right rear side of the burner is cast with“PAT. APPLD. FOR” and the left side cast with“MARVEL” This torch is in excellent condition with only light surface rust on the ferrous feed tube. The rear part of the tank has a shallow dent just below the Bennett-Marvell name. Because it is surely 110 years old. Or more, I’d say the tool is in wonderful condition. Large Industrial Size 175 watt plus Soldering Iron with Supersize Tip
Large Industiral size used soldering iron. 175 watts plus. Large heavy wooden handle. Tip is the largest on a soldering iron I've ever seen. Item is used and has some rust on the tip and shaft but heats up and gets very hot. Handle is in excellant condition. Can't tell the make. Soldering iron is 13 inches long and rather heavy.

Up for auction is a Large Vintage Dunlap Electric Soldering Iron 100 Watt Wood Handle 5374 USA w/Box. The number on the handle looks to be 5379 as far as I can tell and the model number on box is also 5379. The Wood handle and cord are in very nice condition. Has the little wire stand for the iron and original box. Appears to have been made for Sears Roebuck and Co. according to the label on box. Box is in rough condition. End of handle to end of iron measures 13 inches. Still works great. A nice old find for some lucky bidder.

The item that you are purchasing is a Vintage TECO MASTER Hand Soldering Iron in the original box. TECO MASTER indented into the handle, with what appears to be a copper tip(Not%100 sure) also with nice red handle, this is an excellent looking piece, showing some usual wear coming over time, some light paint splatter on one side of the handle, the box is in decent shape for its age, showing usual age, none the less a great piece, I am unsure if the iron works as I have not tested it, look at images for confirmation of condition.
