Here for sale is a retrofit cnc kit for any 7x10.7x12, 7x14 or any other mini lathe. I purchased this kit a couple years ago from a company called stepper world. I put all the electronics inside a cnc case purchased from CNC4PC.com. Everything works perfectly. This setup runs off of Mach 3 software. I will still continue to use this setup until I sell it. Normally when you are shopping around for a cnc kit for your machine you will only receive the motors, and a board. Unimat SL 1000 Mini Lathe Clock/Jewelry/Machinist Use Working
Up for auction is a nice. Working unimat, made in Austria, SL1000 lathe in the original box, with assorted tools and pieces: please look at the pictures. This lathe came from the estate of a machinist who also dabbled in clock repair. I'm not familiar with this particular tool but it is working and clean and appears to have all the parts. Some of the adjusting nuts are tight and may need a little oil, but doesn't look like it was abused. It is in the original wooden box. Weighs close to 30 lbs. best to pick up, but will ship but may be in the 50-60$ range depending where you live. I do not believe that it has been used much. If at all. I have no idea of the age of the lathe. The plywood baseplate is 24“ x 13“ Equipped with a Dayton 6K778B 1/3 Hp. 115v AC Motor. The motor and headstock spindle are equipped with 6 step aluminum pulleys. Speeds stated by manufacturer to be 450 to 5700 rpm. The belt is a Gates 3M500. The headstock has a 1/4“ collet to accept standard pen mandrels. The tailstock has a live center. The pen mandrel is not included. Equipped with a diamond shaped cutting tool. Branded PHASE II E4-C2. The user can specify the cut depth via the handwheel. The servomotor driven cutter will advance across the work until is stopped by a limit switch. There ... moreis a limit switch on both ends.
