I bought this tractor and tiller new. The tractor is 2004. 4 wheel drive, with turn signals 4 way flashing lights, head lights, full roll bar and seat belt. Fully Automatic lever action. Has cruise control, and lock out four wheel drive. Everything on the tractor works excellent. Small scratch on hood between the headlight's. Both are in excellent condition. The tractor is a diesel with 60 inch mower, 3pt hitch, and has 375 hours of use. No leaks. Mower is lifted as is the implements by hydraulics, and electric lift. The tiller is a King Kutter heavy duty gear driven off the tractor Power Take Off(PTO) Tiller has less than 10 hours of use and is only two years old. I have full manuals on both tractor and tiller. 1975 Kubota L260 Diesel Loader Bucket Tractor w/ Cab Starts and Runs Strong
For sale is a 1975 Kubota L260 diesel loader tractor. It has a 2-cyl diesel motor rated at 26HP. It has a 2 range transmission with 8-fwd and 2-rev gears. It has decent rear rubber with snow chains on. The tractor is 2wd. The loader is a Freeman loader bucket system and functions but one of the four cylinders needs the seals replaced(just drips during operation) The cab is a Harris cab that has lockable doors. The back glass is out but it would certainly help shield you on a windy snowy winter day. Starts and runs strong in all gears. Clutch engages and disengages well but could be taken up if one was so minded. I purchased it without the drawbar or 3pt arms attached. I have not purchased those items for it since I got it for a loader. The drawbar and arms are available even at Tractor Supply and are easy to come by. Overall it is a good ... morerunning tractor that has seen use and shows it. It's not a looker but with a couple small tweaks could be a real workhorse. Most M59 Kubota's were sold new as a loader backhoe. This tractor was never fitted with a backhoe from new. It is just a 3 point hitch and PTO tractor. Therefore it lived an easier life than most! It is factory setup to take a backhoe, but one is not included in this sale and I do not know of any available except maybe new from Kubota. The tractor does come with the hydraulic grapple shown and it will be a handy attachment for wood, brush, or even hay! The tractor is a 2010, has just under 950 hours and looks to have had good service, but I would recommend an oils and filters service as I do not know exactly when it was last done. The covers under the steps have a few dents that could easily be straightened, the front grille has a couple of broken areas and the tires are a little dry but have excellent tread remaining. Most dealers never show there customers the Grand L series because they are more expensive and most people come in just talking about what HP they need. Kubota Grand L4240 and the larger HP compact tractors are hard to fine and real hard to find with a loader and frame mount backhoe. Has not been repainted or touched up. Could use a good wax job to make it look even better but a very very nice condition tractor loader backhoe. This is a nice condition Kubota L4240 and had a very good home. Was home owner used and not abused! Starts and runs very good. Hydro is smooth and operates very nice, four wheel drive works great and the loader and backhoe are in great condition. This is the way these tractors should be set up with the Kubota HD loader and Kubota BH90 backhoe. The Kubota LA854 loader is a very HD loader and the BH90 Backhoe is also very powerful and not a toy backhoe.
