Vintage Antique small Hit Miss Engine Pulley from an old saw mill 1-1/8 shaft
What you see in the picture is exactly what you get. This is an original Antique Vintage Hit Miss Engine Pulley. 2-3/4 inches wide area for belt over all width is 3-3/4 inches and 4 inch diameter. Pulley is made to fit a 1-1/8 inch shaft I believe this came from part of an old saw mill that I purchased with a few hit miss engines. This part was dug out of storage and now up for auction. Hit Miss Gas Engine Mag 1.5,3&6 HP ,John Deere E 1 1/2 hp
here is a nice old mag that has a 1 1/2 hp gear on it.I stated that it fits the 3s and 6s because it can fit,but it would need a different gear. This mag has the end place bushing showing quite a bit of wear, one may want to replace it, and bush the gear end,or if just a one show a year man, leave it as is. The replaceable end bearing is worse than the gear end. I spun the armature with the gear, and with a wire held to the gear, it still produces a nice spark,so it has the value in my mind. It has a good impulse when turning by hand, but I am sure it would benefit from a fresh charge. Engines with worn bores need more spark, if your engine is worn as such. Hit Miss Gas Engine ,John Deere 6 hp E rear axle
Here is an original rear axel for a 6 hp John Deere. I have also seen these on Waterloo engines. I thought I may have had a pair of cracked wheels some where, but can't say at the moment where they are, they may have went South. This axle had the pipe rusted through, so I cut it off, and blew it out with a torch. it will need the holes ground some, and a new pipe fitted in place. It also had the ear on one side broke off, so I welded it up, the opposite side of the weld, had a casting defect, so I welded it up, while the thing was hot. I guarantee my welds, they will hold. I do not accept offers as a general rule. So please do not send me low ball offers, if no one has bid, I will not take them. I am just trying to get some gas money. This is a reprinted catalog for the John Lauson Frost King Gasoline Engines. The company was located in New Holstein. WI, established in 1897 and incorporated in 1899. Their guarantee was that all Lauson Engines would develop more than their rated horse power at normal speed and load and to consume not to exceed one pint of gasoline per horse-power hour, and to be free from all defects of material and workmanship. That's a pretty good guarantee! The catalog included illustrates in black and white of each of the engines, clutch pulleys, crank shafts, pump jacks, dimensions of the engines, etc. It is in nice condition and measures 8-1/2" x 11" The pictures tell the story. I am not an expert on this particular make of engine but I suspect it was built by Alamo and marketed by the Rock Island Plow Company of Rock Island. Illinois. The body is cast aluminum painted black with nice gold details. A neat old piece it stands 9" high to the top of the light socket and measures 6" x 5 1/4" at the base. This is a Jefferson Make& Break spark coil. It has been tested and is HOT! It throws a fat blue spark. It is in nice condition and measures 6-1/8" long x 2-1/4" wide. This coil is for an ignitor fired gas engine and will not work with a spark plug fired engine. These original coils always look better in the coil box than a modern coil! Old Original Cast Iron Multi Feed Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Oiler Lunkenheimer
This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron multi feed oiler for a hit and miss gas engine or steam engine or tractor. The reservoir is cast iron and this oiler is quite heavy! It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs other than a flat sight glass on one end of the reservoir and one of the sights has a coupler soldered to the bottom of it to accept a different fitting. The oiler measures about 4 inches in diameter and about 19 inches long over all. It is a nine feed oiler and all of the adjustment stems are in great shape and work as they should. I'm not sure if this is Lunkenheimer, Lonergan, American Lubricator, American Injector, Penberthy, Essex, Detroit, or otherwise but the levers on top look a lot like Lunkenheimer. Old Original Brunner Air Compressor Hit Miss Gas Model Engine Steam Magneto NICE
This is a super original Brunner air compressor. These are often used as the basis of many freelance hit and miss gas engine models. This one is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over nicely and compresses air just fine. It has both original pulleys on it yet. One is a driver and one is an idler. It has a bronze connecting rod and the cylinder looks to be in great shape. The bearings show very little wear and I don't think this little compressor was used much. These Brunner's don't turn up very often even at swap meets and this is an especially nice original example so if you've been looking for one don't overlook this one. The pictures tell the story. This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original crank guard for a 10hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is the sheet metal version and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures 10 3/8 inches wide at it's widest and 29 1/2 inches long. It has surface rust from hanging around an old farm shop for decades but would clean up and paint quite nicely. These are MUCH harder to find than the smaller Z guards so if you need one don't miss your chance on this one. I can't recall ever seeing another one for sale even here on Ebay. Old Original Delco-Light Plant Hit Miss Gas Engine Egg Separator Magneto Oiler
This is a neat piece of advertising for Delco-Light. It was most likely given to a potential customer at a trade show. It is in very nice condition and is 3-3/8" in diameter with a 1-1/8" handle.
